The result of copy and pasting for example from Microsoft Word into the Tiny MCE editor in WordPress blogs can be unexpected, and contain a lot of formatting code that's not compliant unless you know how to use the built-in features in the Visual editor for using Word cleanly. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text

I have already changed the font on the "Description" of my blog using the css editor, but the text still appears in italic, how can I make the text normal?

My other question is, after pasting the content in to the "Paste from Word" box, if I open the Text Box and insert the code
<div style="font-size:120%;">TEXT HERE</div> to make the font bigger, would that be ok?

I think I'm starting to get it! Part of my confusion was in the names of the rules - I thought I needed to use a #comments rule but you have written a #respond, etc. rule.

I changed the color and font-size successfully, and now would like to know if I can make the font museo sans to match my entry-title. I did put it in the font-family line, but it didn't seem to take:

Yesterday it made the entry titles to a blog post smaller. Today it is the same size as previously. I have gone back and forth, saving, previewing, etc and can't seem to change anything.

Am I trying to change the wrong CSS block? Although it did work yesterday. Is it because my site is not "live?" I am becoming very confused! Sigh.

I have reviewed the CSS and can't seem to see any of the font stacks you mention. The only references to font type seem to be in the /*Fonts section at top where Georgia and Lato are mentioned. I don't see my Museo Sans substitution anywhere to copy. Does amended CSS appear somewhere else that I'm missing?

Font size was originally 20 px and colour was #eee. These changes did not change anything on my page. Maybe this is the wrong CSS block to change? Thanks for any help!

That's because you got the underscore and dashes mixed up. ;-) Just tested the above and it should work.

Depends a bit on the stuff you have inside the widget, and which part of the widget you want to affect.

I don't know what browser your using, but IE, Firefox, and Opera, Safari all have code inspectors that will allow you to look at the HTML and CSS (don't know about Chrome). Then you can look up the attribute and the css.

To change font size you need to change the font-size property in your CSS.
