IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting blog content does not remove it from the SERPs (search engine page results). Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 - 6 months.

Igf you go to Google's cache yopur indexed content will be in cached copies and you can copy and paste it into new posts and pastes. It's tedious but it's your only hope of content recovery.

Would it be possible to recover an old blog which got deleted last year on the 8th of February 2012 - It was deleted for personal reasons, however, I wish to now look back at what I used to write about a year later. I was wondering if this is possible?

My old blog was called: animenathan.wordpress.com
Lame I know, but it was a year ago.

It'd mean a lot if this was possible.

I had a post scheduled to appear at 12:01 on 01/28/2012. While saving edits to it last night it was all of a sudden published and sent out to subscribers. I had to do a double take, but the date was indeed still in the future, while the status had changed from Scheduled to Published. I searched the forums and this appears to have happened in the past, but the bug was fixed and the topic was closed, so posting again.

http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/future-posts-released-before-timestamp-time?replies=7#post-164015

Hi there, I'm interested in how you put your chapter on the web. I must admit I haven't tried to find it. I'm a very nervous internet user, but I am considering putting my first novel on line and wondered whether to do it in sections and which system to use. It would be interesting to put a foreword on instead and then leave people to buy the paperback. I'm dipping my toe in the forum water. I've tried twitter but it won't let me write enough.

Ever seen something you knew you wouldn't get to tomorrow but definitely wanted to do before you kicked the bucket? Well I've compiled a fairly extensive bucket list at http://josiahblacksblog.wordpress.com/my-bucket-list/ and I want suggestions, additions and general discussion if possible. It's an inspiring idea and one we all should think about... setting some goals to accomplish. Something concrete, as tame as going skydiving and crazy as gluing quarters to a street in the crosswalk and photographing people who pick them up. Make your list today.

Hi, I blog at http://speakingchic.wordpress.com and I had scheduled a post for Oct 22 14:00 hours (2 pm). After scheduling the post, I checked my blog settings to ensure that the time zone is correct. When I checked the blog at 2.55 pm, it had not been posted. The status was Draft, and it said "last modified 55 minutes ago". But I hadn't made any changes to the post at all. I published it manually.

According to this Support page: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/ "At the exact date/time you set, your post will automatically be published for visitors to see." But this did not happen.

Please help. Thanks.

Thanks for the advice and link, guys. At the moment, the only real non-necessity I have is my motorcycle and it just provides me with way too much happiness in my life for me to sell it. My interest rate is only 3% and it's a fairly small loan. If I was in a really bad spot with crazy credit card debt, etc, I'd have no problem getting rid of it to get my finances in order. I know I could sell it for a few thousand dollars to get rid of that small loan, but I'm definitely not living outside my means and since I should have it completely paid off over the winter, I'm willing to deal with a few months of 3% interest on it until it is paid off. Then my only debt it my student loan, which is what all of my extra money will be going towards once the motorcycle is paid off. My next post will be laying out some of my short-term goals, including getting the motorcycle paid off first thing!
