This helps some. Play with the min-height number until you get the look you want. You can also play with the padding-top a bit but that will just reduce the space above your title.

#header {
min-height: 120px;
padding-top: 50px;
width: 800px;
}

Hi all,

Is there any way of reducing the gap between the tagline (Equipping churches to engage with their communities) and the image?

I'd like the gap to be about half what it currently is. I've been messing around with various bits of CSS all afternoon but can't seem to do anything. Any help gratefully received!

I'm using Firefox 10.0.2 and I do see what you mean. I will flag this thread and it will be moved to the Themes Forum where Themes Staff will address this issue and reply to you.

A very minor quibble, but I've noticed in the last few days that my site is displaying a fair-sized gap at the top of the page - in which a portion of the background image is visible - before the panel with the site's actual content in it begins. Other than that everything is working fine, but it looks a bit odd at the moment. Is this just my site? Anything I can do to make it display a little more properly again?

First off, sorry for the 2-day delay. The thread sort of go lost far down on the list in the CSS forum.

I assume you are talking about the gap where the red background shows through. This gets rid of it.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the blank space between the menu and the main content on the Mystique theme? Also does anyone know how to decrease the blank space before the first post? My first post is an image which I'm using as a secondary header. I've removed the shadow box around the image with the CSS entry below but there is still a blank space above the post. I would like there to be no black and very little white space between the menu and the content.

Hi. The gap after the Facebook "Like" button is normal and cannot be removed. It's there to indicate the number of people who liked your post.

I have recently enabled the sharing buttons under every post and there always seems to be this gap after the facebook button and i dont know why.

i have the button set as 'like' and icon and text turned on

I'm afraid you're at the wrong site. These forums are for those hosted here at wordpress.com. Since you're hosted elsewhere, you're running different software than we are here and need to be over at http://wordpress.org That's the site for the downloadable version of the software.

Some quick suggestions though:

- Don't post code unless asked to. Best bet would be to provide a link. Else you're just making folks sit there hitting page down looking to see if there's a follow up or where the end of teh post is.

- You have a lot of broken code there. You may want to try fixing some of it. Chances are something on that list is causing the drop down issue.

- You're probably missing an ending div at teh end of your sidebar. I would try that if the above doesn't fix the issue.

I would like to finally release my website, drew.rs-resources.com/ , but there is a problem when I view it in Internet Explorer. You try it :\ .

There seems to be a huge white gap between Categories and my first post published on the homepage.
