Going to the address now shows a 'server not found' message.

In the 'my upgrades' tab on the nav bar, it says 'DNS needs to be updated'. I have read through the support tab linked to the 'Edit DNS' page, but I am still perplexed. I figured that if i purchased hosting through WordPress, that the linking would be included. Every single tutorial video I have watched to try to figure this out assumes that the viewer purchased hosting of the domain through a third party beforehand (godaddy, etc), and that is where they get the information for the DNS.

Where do I find the info I need to map the DNS? Godaddy.com now claims that johnwinslow.org is already taken, so I'm at a loss as to which direction to head? Sorry for the newbie question.. I suppose I should have looked at this before making the purchase (but the wording/presentation in the 'premium' upgrade pitch makes it seem like it will be integrated and SIMPLE...)

It sounds like you might be expecting CSS to show up in the add-on CSS editor in the Customize section though, and that's not how CSS editing is setup to work on WordPress.com. The CSS editor is designed to let you add-on your own CSS on top of the original theme CSS. The theme CSS stays as is with "add-on" mode and you simply need to figure out what rules to add based on seeing the CSS through your browser to make changes. This page explains it in a bit more detail:

To find what CSS rules to add, a good way to do it is to right-click on the element you'd like to change and select the "Inspect Element" option. That will pull up the HTML with the element you clicked selected and show all of the CSS that applies to that HTML on the right. To change something, copy down just the block for the thing you want to change, make adjustments, and paste the edited CSS into your Appearance → Themes → Customize → CSS editor.

I may sound a little daft here, but i am having problems with starting. I want a website using W.Press. I downloaded the WP files to my computer and when i click on the folder I find that all the list of W.Press php files has dreamweaver logo ( i have dreamweaver installed in my cmputer). When I click on those files the D.weaver opens up and these codes appear in the D.weaver screen which I have no clue of??. What am i suppose to do. Please help!! I am a newbie and have my own site using D.weaver.
