First, make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://www.whatbrowser.org/

If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

If it is, please do these two things:

1. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

Hello.
So, I've been looking for some kind of page update notification plugin that allows members to see when a page has been updated after they logged in on the website.

I've noticed that Mingle Forum uses a 'new'.gif that shows when there's a reply to a comment in the forum itself.

I'd like to see some kind of .gif next to the name of the page. Similar to what Facebook uses to notify the members. And it truly be amazing if it would show a notification instantly, so members can jump to that page immediately to see what's going on.

Can't find anything about it though.
The notification by email plugin is very annoying, cause I receive about 90 emails a day about new posts, I'd just like to see it on the website itself.

Thanks in advance :)

Yes, timethief is correct.

You're resizing it to a width of 300px, and animated gifs don't animate when resized dynamically.

It needs to be inserted as full size only.

I went away from my blog for a while, but when I came back I found that GIFs would no longer properly upload. I'm not doing anything different than last time; my basic steps are to find the GIF URL, click "add media" on a new post, paste the URL, click the "center" button, then click done. When I preview the post it appears fine, but after I publish it the GIF is always broken. Any ideas on why this may be happening? I've tried all all size GIFs, and my website is pretty pointless if this doesn't work. None of the other gif-related posts on the support forum seem to help, either.

Thanks for any advice you can provide!

Oops, and I was talking about the image in your posts, not in the sidebar.

One problem (which has nothing to do with the image centering issue) is that the image is too wide for the sidebar. The sidebar has an overall width of 266px and your image is 427px. The image would need to be redone and resaved in a program for animated gifs at 266px wide and then you would upload and use that image.

This is what I see in your source code for the image at the top of your main page:

<img class="alignleft

Switch to the HTML tab and change the "alignleft" to "aligncenter".

I just inserted a couple images into my test blog with the theme you are using and selected "align center" in the insert image popup pane and the images came out centered as they should.
