I would like to embed a Shutterfly slideshow into one of my posts, and I understand that Shutterfly, which uses Flash, is not automatically compatible with WordPress.com. I've seen several forum threads pointing to using gigya, including a post on how to do so. I've tried it already, and I'm not having any success. Admittedly, I'm quite the amateur when it comes to html (that's quite the understatement...), so maybe I'm just not getting it. Anyone want to break this down so that a simpleton like myself can understand?

As far as I know It will not be operational on a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

Tengo problemas para embedar este tipo de códigos de vídeo en mis posts. He leído en los foros que una solución es traducir el código a gigya pero lo he intentado sin suerte.

If what you tried didn't work, then you made some mistake: even one missing quotation mark will make the code invalid.

This doesn't work either - however I did some digging on the site I got the from, and apparently it doesn't work on WP for anyone!

I've just logged in with Google Chrome and the arrows have disappeared!! Thank you!!!

I have another badge that's not showing - how do I know what bits in the code need changing?

I'm not seeing any arrows. You can try decreasing the dimensions. What browser and version are you using?

Thanks for these suggestions, however, I'm nto techy and find most of the lanuguage in the links from AOB a bit above my head!

Thanks for the new code justpi, that sort of works, but I have directional arrows (like on excel) around the badge - is there any way to remove those?

As AOB said, that's not the code for an image, it's the code for a flash file. To insert this object you need to turn the code to this:

I embeded a video from ABC using gigya coding, but I cannot figure out to turn off autoplay? There's nothing in the code that looks like an option to do this..is there anything I can add to turn it off?

Oh, hey...I randomly tried the first option, and it works! My wooden clock looks awesome....ticking and tocking... it would be even cooler if there was a soft "tick tock" sound, lol... but, can't have everything... :)

I did find a lot of interesting clocks and at the moment I'm trying out two of them. Both are really good looking and either would be fine for my needs and the style of my blog. However, neither of them will center. I'd rather not resize and go larger, since that might look a bit overwhelming... Is there a means of centering a code like this, which doesn't show any positioning tags?

Keep in mind that gigya code is not officially supported here on wp.com so your clock may vanish at any time, so to speak.

(and as a volunteer, none of my opinions are official but gigya has been functional for a while and IMO it is currently useful)

Cool. That was what I thought, it would require gigya shortcode which works-around the flash code. Looks like I'm not the only blogger with the notion of adding a clock. And yet I thought it might be considered too weird, lol.

Without the work around gigya shortcode, we are not able to use widgets with flash. Flash is among the code we are forbidden here on wordpress.com:
