Unfortunately I do not have access to their systems. I can tell you that this IS the problem. Just tell them you need help changing the IP address for the domain name. Don't go into unnecessary details.
You just need to change the IP address for your domain name to that IP address I provided.
It is a simple change with us. It should be simple with them too

Go daddy are saying this:

The nameservers are correct. You need to update the '@' A record for the domain with the hosting IP address.

This is done with their Support where the domain is registered.

Wild West Domains is the name of the Registrar for WordPress.COM - if you bought your domain name here that is what the registrar should show

As for the name server info - that comes from Godaddy and their people should be smart enough to give you the correct name server info - Godaddy uses many name servers - if you use the wrong name server info your site will not work -

You don't have a WordPress.COM issue - WP.COM is letting you change your name servers just fine - do you have any strange redirects?

Sorry, I'm not good at all of this,

The name severs shown above are the ones I found on go daddy and then copied onto the wordpress.com account using this tutorial

Godaddy should accept name servers and IP addresses should not be needed - your domain name is set:

Domain Name: CRAFTITBAKEIT.COM
Registrar: WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC
Whois Server: whois.wildwestdomains.com
Referral URL: http://www.wildwestdomains.com
Name Server: NS31.DOMAINCONTROL.COM
Name Server: NS32.DOMAINCONTROL.COM

Is that to your host?
Has your host set their system records for your domain name correctly - your new host needs to do the equivalent of domain mapping to have their servers send traffic to the correct place

I changed the DNS server over to go daddy today and now the page says..

If you're referring to your domain manager, you can access it following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/#domain-manager-login

The link makes reference to MX PIN and such but I have never needed to use those functions using those instructions - I have a mapped domain with email but I used a different method - that is why I have flagged this for the staff - they have more experience than I have

Thanks Aux. However, I have pointed my name servers to squarespace.com. What I need is to access the go daddy account but they say I need a PIN number. Have you every heard of a PIN number for wordpress?

Ok. So I need to fix my feedburner account. Come to find out WP outsourced to goDaddy for the domain. When I called go daddy they said to make changes they need a 4 digit pin for WordPress? I do not know what this is. How can I obtain my 4 digit pin to give to go daddy to have them make the MX changes for me?

Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me... my site jeckert.com is hosted on GoDaddy and they have been totally useless in dealing with this problem. I recently migrated my wordpress site from windows hosting to linux hosting. Since doing that I cannot upload files through wordpress. whenever I try I recieve this error message:

Unable to create directory uploads/2013/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I’ve seen a number of responses to this error talking about changing permissions and have tried that multiple times, with no success. Does anyone know of a solution?

Also, in my desperation to get this working, i had set my domain redirect at some point to "www.thebeebumbles.com". Now i am trying to change it back to just "thebeebumbles.com" in Store>Domains>Site Redirects but it just reverts to "www.thebeebumbles.com"!

According to that page, i should be able to change my redirect to whatever i want:

Site Redirect
This blog is currently being redirected to http://www.thebeebumbles.com. You can change the destination of the redirect or delete the redirect below. If you would like to disable the redirect without deleting it, select another domain in the table above and click "Update Primary Domain."

Ugh...

I registered a domain name thebeebumbles.com at go daddy last weekend. No hosting, simply registered the name. I then purchased the wordpress domain redirect app. I can see now the two domain options available, thebeebumbles.wordpress.com and thebeebumbles.com in my wordpress dashboard. I have gone into my go daddy account more than three days ago, and selected "set nameservers", and then i selected "I have specific nameservers for my domains" and entered the three wordpress nameservers "ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, ns3.wordpress.com" as directed. I then chose thebeebumbles.com as my primary domain in my wordpress dashboard.

When i try to go to thebeebumbles.com i get "server not found". When i go to thebeebumbles.wordpress.com, it redirects to thebeebumbles.com, but again, i get "server not found".

All i wanted to do was have my wordpress site displayed when a user goes to thebeebumbles.com, with the url displayed as thebeebumbles.com and not thebeebumbles.wordpress.com

Am i missing something?

My wordpress blog is thebeebumbles.wordpress.com
My domain is thebeebumbles.com

I have purchased a a domain name from Go Daddy. How do I go about redirecting the domain to my WordPress blog?
Do I need to purchase domain mapping from WordPress or is it just a case of entering the new domain somewhere in settings?

I apologize for the delay. I have been working on my site off and on for the last couple days and I haven't had the error pop up anymore. I hope this is the last of it, but, I understand if it happens again.

Hi again, it does looks like a caching issue on your end. The good news is that won't affect your readers, the bad news is that we can't directly help you fix it.

You mentioned that you've already rebooted your computer several times. Could you please try rebooting your router, too?

If that does not help, I would suggest contacting your internet service provider for assistance. You might also want to consider something like OpenDNS: http://www.opendns.com/home-solutions

That should address your DNS cashing issues.

I hope the above helps. As the DNS caching issue is beyond our control, I'm sorry I was not able to assist more.
