Support sent me instructions in an email and told me the account holder needs to send their email address and details to them. The account holder followed all of those instructions, sent the right subject line, etc and we still haven't heard anything. We've done that about 5 times now.

@beccacaddy, I sent an email to the address on file for your account on May 6 at 5:31 PM. The email had the subject "re: Can't access blog due to 2 step auth issues!". Did you receive this email? If not, could you please check your Spam folder to make sure it did not accidentally end up there?

If you did receive the email, I have not yet received your response. If you did respond, could you double check that it was actually sent? Sometimes a response can be left in a drafts folder.

Please let me know if there's anything else that I can do to help.

My flatmate set up a blog at foodandotherlove.wordpress.com. She set up the two step authentication, but then logged out of the account AND deleted the google authentication app. So now she's essentially locked out of everything and we're not sure what to do. The google auth app is asking for the key, which I assume is the api key, but we can't access that as she can't get into her wordpress account. A bit of a catch 22 kinda situation... Would really appreciate any help or feedback :)

However, and this could be useful to others in a similar situation, simply adding the google MX records worked. In other words, if you have already verified your domain with google and you can still follow the instructions at http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-email-through-google-apps/ but skip the first 15 steps. Just paste in the standard google mail records (see below) in the wordpress custom DNS record, without a verification code.

Standard google mail records:

I am trying to set up my wordpress.com blog to use gmail for google apps, but I have failed to do so.

Relevant info:

_ I created a google apps account and got google to obtain the domain name wordlogics.com from godaddy.
_ I verified that domain within google apps before setting up my wordpress.com website
_ I created a wordpress.com website, originally with the primary domain wordlogicswordpress.wordpress.com
_ I later added wordlogics.com to my list of domains and made it my primary domain
_ godaddy was configured with the wordpress nameservers

Now, when I try to edit my primary dns within wordpress (wordlogics.com) and click the "verification code" link (https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/wordlogics.com/VerifyOwnership)
I am redirected to https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/wordlogics.com/CPanelHome#CPanelHome (google apps dashboard)

Is there any way I can obtain this verification code? I don't think I'll be able to get my google apps mail work again without it. Or is it possible to add the google MX records to my custom dns record via the wordpress dashboard.
