Thanks for replying timethief, however I already had that set. I am guessing there is no way to selectively block another blogger from clicking like. I don't like the idea that someone looking at my post could see who was liking it and, well. . . associate me with that person.

I have the same issue. My gravatar setting is marked at G, however someone "liked" my post today and their gravatar is a completely nude male body from the neck down. It's completely unacceptable and as the blog owner, I should have the ability to either remove someone's like or block their gravatar.

Please, please, please consider adding such capability. It would be much appreciated.

I've already set the rating to "G" before posting. The profile has a "G" rating picture but it is clearly one of shall we say alluring nature. When you view the profile it sends you to a "ladyornot.com" web address.

I'm not looking to disable the Gravatar feature in totality. I'm looking to block specific profiles when they are of a nature that is clearly unprofessional.

Thank you for your replies but I remain of the position if bot profiles can't be blocked from "likes" then WP is not a complete solution nor safe for casual or professional use. I'm happy to go elsewhere.

Note:

For clarity likes and shares numbers are misleading when you consider page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can "like" and "share" your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat. Those who have username accounts only but no blog can become followers and click the "like" and/or "share" buttons. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/07/09/wordpress-followers-likes-and-stats/
