Hi, I am having a few problems with the theme Gridspace.

On the homepage I do want to have my latest posts but only from a certain category, or just certain posts. This is because I have an image section and a text section.

It looks messy to have both because the text section appears without an image and I don´t want to add an image to it.

I understand that you can´t have a category as the homepage but is there some solution to this/some way of creating a static page that will show my latest image posts?

thank you for your help!

Hello again, and thanks for your help!
I have another question regarding padding on my pages. I have one page with pictures, and some other only with text. I want them to be aligned with the menu on the left. I figured out that this changed the padding on my page:
article {
padding-top: 60px;
}
Problem here is that the pictures are now aligned, but the text on the other pages are now way to high in relation the the menu. How do I change that on the specific pages?

The Gridspace theme on WordPress.com has a similar effect:
http://gridspacedemo.wordpress.com/

However, the effect in this case is done with jQuery not CSS. It looks to me like the technique at http://www.dessign.net/gridthemeresponsive/ is done the same way. You can test to see if something depends on JavaScript by temporarily turning of JavaScript in your web browser settings and then reloading the web page and trying to trigger the hover effect again.

There are probably some CSS-only hover effects that are similar but definitely modern browser only. Try doing a Google search for "CSS hover effects" to see what you can come up with.

I want to strip down "gridspace" to its minimum, take away every line on both main page and posts. This far, I´ve managed to take away one, but there is still a few there. How do I do that?
And, I would also like to take away the "comment" opportunity, is that possible, and how do I do that?
Finally, there is a little "like" box that I don´t want there -any suggestions how to get rid of it?
Grateful for your help, Olivia

Hi,

Is there a way to change the post title to a smaller font in Gridspace? - I can change it on the front page, but when I click to the actual post it's still large.

I also wondered if I can make the black line along the top a little thinner?!

Thanks very much!
