If it is for something like a photo gallery where you have lots of images which are the same size it would be pretty easy to find/make a distressed polaroid-style outline and place it behind the photo in each case, applying margins and padding as appropriate. If you are dealing with many elements of different sizes you might want to use an image which can be tiled so it will stretch to fill the space automatically. There's plenty of free resources online for finding things like background images.

Does anyone know how to change the look of a border? I see how I can make it thicker or more narrow, but I'd like to make it look distressed, or what I seem to finding they call 'grungy', similar to the effect that is often seen around photos. I just don't want it to be so clean. Suggestions. Peace and thank you!
