It stays black because you changed the h1 and .heading color only: the titles of the post excerpts aren't just headings, they are links, plus they belong to a separate section, so they have their own selector. Add this in the CSS editor:

.post-roll article.post h1 a {
    color: #17528F;
}

Thank you very much for your help with this - we've managed to change the colour of the Featured Header, but not those below it on the main page. Once you click on a post, the header font is the colour we want, but I'm a bit confused as to why it stays black on the main page.

1. I'm not sure how to do this and not mess up the responsive nature of the theme due to the way the post title on the single post pages is done. I'll have to work on this a little more.

2. It appears as if you have figured this part out. Let us know if that is not the case and point us to what you want to change.

Hello!

We've just installed the Watson theme (with the Custom Design upgrade) and would like to make a few small adjustments:

1. Is it possible to add some code to the css to make the text from each blog post span the same width as the Featured Image? That is, once the post has been opened as its own page.

2. We'd love to be able to modify the colour of the headers to blue instead of black. Is this possible? If you're able to provide me with sample css code, I would really appreciate it.

Just turned off "Mobile Theme" and its worked. The blog has no option for the mobile site, and the page width and images are perfect.

I seemed to have solved the issue at the moment.
The font is Raleway for the header, which is what it appears to be if you open the webpage on "desktop mode" on a mobile device.
But how can I fix the the "mobile mode"? Is it possible to modify the fonts for that? Also, my blog's width and images are quite messed up in the "mobile mode" I just noticed. How can i fix that?

Im actually not using the Advanced mode, as when i go to Appearance- Custom Design - Fonts, it says on the top right "Switch to Advanced". So I don't think Im using the advanced mode.

I checked http://fashionistdiary.wordpress.com/ and you are currently using the advanced mode for custom fonts. To setup that way, you need to follow the instructions here to connect a separate Typekit account to your blog:

If you'd rather use the standard custom fonts mode which comes with the WordPress.com Custom Design upgrade, go to Appearance → Custom Design → Fonts and click the "Switch to standard" link and then select fonts in the preview screen that shows up.

Hi,
I need help with my blog http://www.fashionistdiary.wordpress.com. Im using the theme Blogum.

The first issue I'm facing, is the appearance of my blog's header on my iphone or ipad's browsers. The font I have customized my header to is "Raleway", but when I view the web version of my blog on my ipad or iphone, the font is completely different.

Also, I need help in removing the dates from my blog posts. On the main page as well as the post's page.

I hope someone can help!

Your blog name is all lower case right now. Were you wanting your menu and/or your page titles to also be lower case?

You would need to go into your CSS and find the follow selectors; change the text-transform property from uppercase to lowercase. I have pasted the three selectors that would modify your blog title, your menu bar and your page titles, respectively.

I am using the Nishita template. I want the header text to be all lowercase. I have CSS custom design and have tried some suggested code, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any ideas?

Very strange. I cleared my browser, cookies, et al. Have tried both Firefox & Safari, and all Chateau themes look wrong. Your blog, my blog, even the demo. Must be something has gone awry with my computer since this morning. When you look at my blog, it looks normal; like it's supposed to? (That will make me oh-so slightly less panicky!) It's possible that you aren't seeing what I'm seeing. I'm using Firefox 6.02. and I have a blog here httP://thistimethisspace that's wearing Chateau as well. I suggest that you try clearing your browser cache and cookies. If your browser is outdated then any browser version can be upgraded here.

The only way to change the font throughout the theme is to purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and edit the CSS.

I've been using the Chateau theme for some months now. However, today when I opened it, the Header Font has changed. It's no longer the beautiful font that the site was originally designed with, but something that resembles Times or other default font. Please advise on how I get it back! (And if you know how it may have happened.) Also, does anyone know the name of the font used in the Original Chateau theme?

For the header image, height can be changed fairly easily, but if you want it wider, the entire theme has to be widened and that takes a lot more coding.

One last question....what if i do want to use a script font such as "Automobile" in the header? Is there a way to work around the supported OS fonts? I was thinking I could use Photoshop to make my header and then insert it in the blog as a header image.
