Note that using the "small" element as a selector could hide other things in widgets or post content if you ever used that tag. So if you want to make it specific to just the header area, you can add a class selector before it like this:

.posttitle small {
	display: none;
}

Also note that if you remove that part, it covers the ".entry-date" rule you have above so you shouldn't need that one.

I would like to know how to hide the dates (on posts)? I use the customized confit theme. I suppose I should write some code on CSS-edit? I already have some code on CSS - so, should I write the new code after the existing code (and on which line)?

None of it has worked.

Important note: CSS editing is theme dependent. In some authors, themes, categories and/or tags etc. cannot be hidden independently, as they are in the same selector as the other meta data elements such as date, and perhaps even the “leave a comment” link, which means if you hide one, then you hide them all.

Removing date/timestamps, etc. If you want them removed from the slider, the full post, and the post excerpt in the recent articles section, and and to remove the navigation to previous and next posts, try this:

.entry-meta {display:none;}
#nav-below {display:none;}

1. Timestamp on the slider
2. Aspects: 'Timestamp', 'by', and 'in' from the top of the post itself

e.g:
November 4, 2012 · byAgent 57 · in Services.

3. Links to subseqent and previous posts from the bottom of the post itself

Try updating the limit width setting at the bottom of the Appearance → Custom Design → CSS page to match your content area width

Hello there, and thank you for your help. I updated the value field to 750px and it's still not working, I'm afraid. What's happening is that the preview image remains the 450px width and the tags and CTA hang right-justified. Do you have any other ideas?
