That worked, although I am not sure if it's more correct to insert the image in to the post first and then set it as a featured images or viceversa. Maybe it doesn't make any difference. Any suggestions?

Also in the support doc that Michael sent me I read that I should locate the Featured Image module in the bottom right corner under Page Attributes. I managed to find the Feature Image Module but not the Page Attributes. I had a look at the screen options but it's not there either. Any help?

It represents the Post and you upload it in the Featured Image module of your post. thank you very much for getting back to me. I had a look at the link that you sent me but I am not sure what kind of feature image should I use in this case.

Would that be a post thumbnails, an image attached to featured posts or a sticky posts featured image slider? The theme that I am using is Forever.

I am new so I am not really sure what the right choice is and how to do that.

What do I need to do to have the post image above each excerpt?
