No, the bluehost site is separate and will not disappear if you delete the one here, but I always suggest setting the site here to private so that it is not accessible to the public and then it is here just in case you would want to use it at some point in the future. If you delete it, that URL will be gone forever so you cannot get it back.

I have a wordpress.com, but now I'm hosted through Bluehost. It's the same blog just imported to the WordPress feature on Bluehost. If I delete the wordpress.com site on WordPress will it delete the my blog on Bluehost? I've already upgraded and don't want to pay more for a redirect through WordPress. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Oh, I should add that I have already tried the "Clear all information" button, then even tried the "Reset importer" button, but when I initiated the importing process one more time, the blue Posts and Comments bars were still full. However, the "Import" button was available (instead of "Set Authors" button), which allowed to click Import again anyway. The same results remain unfortunately: only titles without actual content.

Hello. I have just imported posts from Blogger following the procedure correctly to the best of my knowledge, and unfortunately everything I imported from Blogger, posts and comments, currently appear on WordPress without content or paragraphs, and only with titles and names. I have used both, the "import" button and also the upload XML file feature. I also have the option of WP automatically correcting XHTML code ticked.

I have not bought upgrades on WP, and WordPress staff currently are swamped and unable to provide support for those who haven't bought upgrades. Is anyone on the forums able to help with this?

are you using a downloaded version of wordpress, or are you using wordpress.com and linked your domain to your wordpress.com blog? if the first is the answer... you would need to be at a different forum, wordpress.ORG/support

Is there any way (plugin or otherwise) to have WordPress recreate the archive tables in the database? I imported my old Blogger and Livejournal posts to a new WordPress blog, and all of the posts and comments all successfully imported, but now if I try to access any of those imported archives, they don't exist.

For example:
http://nathanchase.com/2008/04/
works, because those are new posts...

http://nathanchase.com/2008/03/
does not work, because those are imported Blogger posts - WordPress should be showing me the posts, not dropping me to a server directory.

Any ideas?

Still need to know what the software you had at your godaddy account was. That's rather important. (ie Please answer that question)

When you imported your blog content into your new wordpress.com blog the panel gave you these choices:
LiveJournal - Import posts from a LiveJournal XML export file
Movable Type and TypePad - Import posts and comments from a Movable Type or Typepad blog
Blogger - Import posts, comments, and users from a Blogger blog
WordPress - Import posts, comments, custom fields, pages, and categories from a WordPress export file

Which choice did you click on after you clicked "import"?

I just called godaddy and they use their own software. I guess my question is since WP is saying that the posts already exist, where is it?

It's probably finding the title and picking up on that. Do you mean Moveable Type maybe? Still need to know what the software you had at your godaddy account was. That's rather important. (ie Please answer that question)

It wasnt wordpress, I clicked moveable wordpad as an option. I didnt do anything to the file. I am a bit clueless and not that tech savvy. Why would my posts say that they are there but not in my dashboard?

All your posts will be in your Admin => Manage => Posts and comments under the 'comments' tab if you imported the entries correctly. So in your case, start by going to:

http://sniper99.com/wp-admin/

That will be where the entries should be hiding for you!

I have imported and the original blog titles show up, however I cannot find them within the new blog.
