It'd be a lot of work to delete the galleries and then re-import the images.

Is there any way to automatically convert my galleries to in-line images?

In .wp-caption img change the "max-width: to 96%

Im not sure I understand what the problem was and how that fixed it though?

I just also noticed though for some reason the img does seem to be centered in the grey border - its further to the right edge?

I checked out the CSS and added what I thought would work, it kinda did but on my site now when you hover there is a shift of images and text on the page

i get confused with the block/inline layout issues, possibly this has something to do with that?

Please how to install latex in wordpress

I found why my page displays \LaTeX in a seperate line while http://en.support.wordpress.com/latex/ displays it inline:

In my page's css, there is a attribute for img element---display:block
it's defined in this css:

when I remove it in opera's dragonfly, it become inline

So I changed my blog theme, and now the symbols display inline

It doesn't mention the inline question. Indeed, they makes \LaTeX
inline, but I don't know how they make it.

Obviously, it's not the very thing i want to put "Hello" inside
the Latex tags. Everything in the tag with be parsed and

A sample displaying latex symbols inline will be rather appreciated.

The Latex, because it is a different kind of code than the regular text, will ALWAYS display on a separate line, unless you get fancy with some HTML. You can see that in the instructions here:

Many videos on Facebook is from other streaming video sites so you can just click the video and find out where it comes from. Then get the embed code and copy it to WP.

Right now, this feature seems to be a bit wonky, sometimes working, sometimes not, depending on the theme and the mood of the Fates.

I'm marking this resolved, but for future people who find this thread, be aware that as of June 1, 2010, this feature appears not to be rock solid.

I cracked the nut.

For some reason I can't explain, I tried once again to paste the HTML from the draft post VodPod into the post where I wanted it to appear, and this time it worked.

It is not correct that I only needed to add this
[vodpod id=Video.3736209&w=425&h=350&fv=]
which is not really a URL at any rate.

Instead I needed to add the whole shmeer like this:

I just checked a Vodpod in my blog, and the code is

Which is pretty basic, but the ID is formatted differently from yours. I'm wondering why that might be, and wondering if the Facebook video might have privacy restrictions on it. Draft posts are not reliable indications of what's in the actual post.

I had mentioned that I managed to create a successful draft post by following VodPod documentation (such as it is), and that draft post shows up in the preview just fine.

Essentially you need to add it to your own personal Vodpod account, then use the Add To WordPress.com button. As far as I know, it won't work in offline blog editors at all, although you can use them to work up the rest of the text. You may have to make a fake draft post to get the exactly correct code into your blog (I think Vodpod makes you put it in a new post, not an existing one) but once you've got the code in any blog post, you can cut and paste to move it where you want to go.

Usually, I use the off-line Windows Live Writer, and I have not had problems embedding YouTube videos. But to follow your suggestion, I tried to add the code into the the post utilizing both the "Add Video" button and by just pasting it into the HTML. This did not work. The "Add Video" button seems not to paste in the code, and using cut-and-paste to put it into the HTML code causes the browser to just reflect the code as a literal.
