Please can you help me with this...

I have paid to have my URL: http://www.kiwanisclubgfw.org hosted which I am happy with. However, I also bought a theme from themeforest which I cannot upload.

So, I began doing some research and it appears that you cannot upload custom themes to wordpress.com, ONLY to wordpress.org

I was confused by this because my URL is a .org, so why can't I install/ upload a custom theme?? So I did more research, and please correct me if I am wrong, but I did a whois lookup and it appears that my name server is a wordpress.com which might explain why it still is not working.

So now my issue/ question is... Can I change this on the name server and look to do a different type of mapping?? Can I not simply transfer my site to the wordpress.org servers so I can upload my theme?? Can someone/ anyone please help me??

I am a newb to WordPress, but I am willing and want to learn. I was not part of the original insallation so have no idea how it was done. Can I delete the one listed above and create a new one using the wordpress.org site and still get my hosting done with the same URL?

Please help!

It's there on my server, but how do I activate it? It seems like all the tutorials I've found are for the old dashboard. It's almost infuriating how little help the "Adding new themes" help topic is.
