Does this happen in a different browser, like Firefox? If it works in Firefox but not chrome, could you please try deactivating all extensions in Chrome, as timethief suggested earlier, and let me know if it works?

This is the issue . . . I have a post draft that will NOT allow a photo to be inserted. I've already tried the following:

<> Tried various photos that have already been inserted into earlier published posts.

<> Deleted the original post, logged out, rebooted my computer, logged in again.

<> Deleted the photo I'm trying to insert, and uploaded it again, twice.

Can someone in the Forum look into this matter, and find a solution, since WordPress doesn't seem to give a damn.

Suburbia and the Columnist work the same way: an image you insert in a post will show on the front page if it's the first image you upload from your computer via the Add Media tool of that post, or if you set it as a featured image to that post. It won't show if you insert a previously uploaded image by selecting it from your media library, or if you insert an image hosted elsewhere.

When I insert the only CSS I know in order to place a masthead image in it brings all my posts below up directly underneath the image which I inserted. This is the CSS text I'm using...

How can I control the position of my pages below the masthead? I also don't want the logo image to repeat down the background of the page. I just want it to sit in the area exactly above the menu which is approx 960px x 40 or 50px.

You have a lot more flexibility with a WordPress.ORG install on your own server - and you can write all the code you want - WordPress.ORG uses I think MySQL for a Database - but you could probably write calls of some sort -

You might ask over at WordPress.ORG about the integration - might be easiest with html & php where you have full control and don't need to do as much integration other than the User Interface

However on my new blog - the "Read More" tag doesn't work - as you can see from the Home page - my post is cut off mid-sentence.

The <!--more--> tag is inserted between the 3rd and 4th paragraphs (after the bit about hockey).

I've pasted the exact same HTML post into my other blog - that displays correctly (I've left it up so you can see the difference).

Any help?

I'm unable to insert photos into blog posts. I upload the media. I create the new post. Then I click "add media" and it shows me all my photos. Then I select a photo and click "insert into post" and it takes me back to my post but it forgot to insert the photo. I can't get photos inserted into my post. I've tried Firefox and Chrome. Everything is up to date. I've disabled all of my plugins. I just want to post some pictures.

Any suggestions?
