FWIW-the entire "Auto-Embed" section is now missing from Dashboard>Settings>Media Settings as well as from the Support doc on Media settings, which was last updated on November 12, 2012.

And FWIW-you can still embed single flickr images using the above method, for now anyway.

So I can't think they have made any changes lately.

By the way, I have now moved my blog to a self hosted domain and have endless possibilities with Flickr plugins, so this isn't any problem for me anymore.

When the slideshow plays and cycles through from a "portrait" oriented photo to a "landscape" photo, there are remnants of the "portrait" photo that remain. Very annoying. I use Flickr imbeds with many of my blog posts. It's a new problem that occurred without changing any settings. Hope we can find a resolution soon!

For example, your first picture is in landscape format while the fox in the next picture is in portrait format.

I am unable to add my blog to my about.me page; when contacted the about.me support, they suggested that my hosted blog robots.txt is blocking the integration due to following entry:

I suspect this is due to the privacy setting "Ask search engines not to index this site." for my blog, is this causing the issue? If it is, then how could it be possible to keep the privacy and add the blog to about.me profile - there must be a way to maintain privacy but add the website? e.g., my other social networks (facebook, etc) are also kept away from search engines but i am able to add them to my profile.

The thing is, you already have a wordpress installation there, why not just do your blogging directly on that site? What you would do is set up a category with whatever you wanted the name of the blog to be (it looks like News) and then you would assign your blog posts to the "news" category and then include a menu item (News) that is linked to that category page.

What you are wanting to do right now is messy to say the least.

At any rate, you need to inquire at wordpress.ORG. That is where the self-hosted wordpress software is supported.

Does anyone know if there are plans to integrate WordAds Earnings with stats? This might be kind of nit-picky, but now, to get to earnings, we have to go to Settings > WordAds > Earnings, which just seems like a lot of clicks.

It would be awesome to have an extra panel for earnings on the regular stats page, like what happened with visitor locations a few months ago. Or just a more easily accessible link somewhere, that would be great too.

Again, this is just an idea.
