The user is showing up on the page Dashboard > Users > Invite New as a contributor (invitation accepted) but is not showing up on the Users page Dashboard > Users > All Users.

I'm using Chrome 26.0.1410.65 on Mac OSX 10.6.8. I've tried this in Firefox to see if its browser-specific, but the user doesn't show up there either. Have also emptied my cache and cleared all cookies, and the problem is still present.

I'm so grateful you are sticking with me. The person who I invited and is not listed was the first to be invited. Then I invited her five more times and she was first for her second invitation. I have already invited 47 users and they are all listed and gradually responding. So I'm not sure about the 10 limit (except that I only invite 10, or less, at one time). I read in the instructions that I could invite as many as I wish as long as I did it in groups of 10 maximum. The invitations seem to be working for everyone except one person. Any other ideas? Thanks for responding to my query. I have already followed the instructions in the link you sent me -- five times. All my other invitations, about 40, have worked and are listed. However one is just not working. I have checked my list again (the next link you sent me) and all my invitees are there except the one I am concerned about. You have to copy the link below (fineprint) in your Invitation email and enter this link in the adress line on firefox. You will be forwarded to the Dashboard where you can blog etc.

He sent me several invitations as an administrator, of which all arrived at my email account. However, once I click on the accept button (or on the link below it), I get redirected to a site on my blog....and everytime I try it I either end up at My Blogs, the Notifications or the Reader. However, the blog never gets added or listed as one of my blogs to which I have access and on my friends account it states that the Request is still pending.

We followed through every step described on your site that explains how to add new administrators.

I am not sure what else I can do. Tried it with both Firefox and IE.

Some help would be greatly appreciated!

they have not accepted the invitation, and I don't know if they will. I would just sleep tighter tonight if I could undo it. :) Because my father will use the blog for business and has paid for the domain for mapping it, I didn't want to take the risk of someone we don't know taking it from us.

timethief, these are blogs that I have just created, the radioantigo.net is just beginning and my father will be personalizing it, so right now, it's all default content in there.

auxclass, the person has not accepted the invitation (yet). I don't know if they will, but if they do, I'm afraid that they might delete us and keep the blog from us, take out admin status away. So, since they haven't accepted, they don't show under the users. I would like to undo that invitation so the person does not gain admin status for the blog.

Is there a way I can undo that invite?

You can delete sent invites from Users -> Invite New in your blog dashboard.

If the user that received the invite already accepted it, their username will appear in Users -> All Users.

To remove that user, move your cursor over the username, then click Remove.

I just did the stupidest thing: I created a blog for my dad and wanted to invite him to be an administrator. Because I'm new to WP myself, I thought that the examples that were in the invite new users box meant that you were supposed to enter the person's name and then their e-mail address. So I entered my dad's first name, followed by his e-mail address. It turns out that I accidentally invited this person whose username is the same as my dad's name, and I have no idea who that user is. Because I assigned him Admin privileges, I'm afraid that he/she might delete the blog or us as users. Is there a way I can undo that invite? Or is there a way I can get in contact with that person and ask him/her to please disregard that invite?
