Hello!

I checked your settings and I show that you only have one email address on file - the one you recently changed to. You requested the change of email address around a month ago, and the change was confirmed. Your old email does not exist in your user settings or site settings anywhere.

Can you give me an example of a recent email that you received that went to your old email address? Was it a notification from your site or was it a comment notification from another site? Once I have that information, I'll be happy to take a closer look.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I had originally set up my blog so that notifications would come to my personal email. After a while I made a special email for my wordpress site, and changed my settings so that notifications would appear there. But for some reason it's still holding on to my personal email, and now I receive:

On my personal email: notifications of new followers and comments that need moderating. NOT likes or comments from approved contributors.

On my wordpress email: notifications of likes and comments from both approved and unapproved contributors. NOT follower notifications.

I really want to move everything to one email address, and I don't know why it still insists on sending some information to my personal one.

Hi,

I started my wordpress blog using one of my gmail addresses and then wished to change the associated email address. I did that by changing the address in the 'settings' section.

Now I am able to log in into my blog using both the email addresses (old and new). I don't want to have this as now both the email addresses are linked to one blog.

Even though I have tried to change the associated email address, I still can access the blog through both the ids!

Please help. I wish to restrict access to my blog through only one gmail address.

Thanks in advance.

I have two separate websites under the same account. I want to create a submission form on my second blog, Breeliant Designs. I changed the general settings for this blog to use a different email address for admin purposes and I also changed the settings on the form itself to send responses to this email (but this keeps disappearing).

However, every time I test the form (the page is currently private because I am not ready to go live with it yet) the responses keep coming to the main email address associated with my account, which is linked to my main site for Alianne Donnelly. Am I missing a step or setting somewhere? How can I make the responses go where I need them?

I see that three days ago (from this message) you successfully changed your account email address - which is different from your blog email address (as Timethief points out).

If you would like to change the email address on your blog, you should get an email at your new email address. If you haven't yet seen it, check your spam. Otherwise, doublecheck that the email address is correct, and try updating it again.

Cheers!

Hi there,
You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

Try the change here first > http://wordpress.com/#!/settings/
