You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

The authors have deleted this site.

i had created an account using [email redacted] in the past and i had my user name vishesharora, and blog url vishesharora.wordpress.com

i now have another email id which is [email redacted] and i need my username and blog url on this email login.

it took me all day to try fix this issue, wordpress is highly confusing.

i do not have any content on either, i just need an id shift.

while trying out the whole process i happened to delete my id s just to have it on the other. and now its failing to register.

Help me fix this asap.

Thank you for responding.

Both were already changed and read as my new e-mail address before I even posted. The Gravatar is still not loading for my profile. I'll look back over my settings just to make sure I'm not doing something wrong.

I have been maintaining my daily blog. I recently changed my old email ([email redacted]) address to my new email address ([email redacted]). Ever since then, my gravatar has read "Error loading profile." I have edited my Gravatar profile to make sure my new email is the primary email. I even deleted the old one. The new email address is also my primary address for wordpress.

I have been trying to figure this out for awhile. Also, I have allowed for 24 hours to pass in between changes.

I said "email account" above when I meant to say "username account".

You must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered any blog to access it.

Why does my new e-mail not work?
I have changed my e-mail address and although when I log in I can see in details that it has been changed it won't let me log in with it and will only let me log in with the old one or with my nickname.What is going on?
I'd really like this sorted as my old e-mail address will not exist for much longer.
Help highly required.

Help! i need to change my account email address but it simply says "that email is already being used" By a blog tha tI no longer operate... Can i merge the accounts or simply change Blog B's email address to the same as Blog A's? If so how?

I can't change my personal email adress to another person. I created the site for someone else. I used the "invite" function to add the person to the site as admin. But the user never verifed and I deleted the pending invitation. I expected this to "free" the email. I now want to change the email adress under personal settings to this new user - but I get the errror message "the email adress is in use". But I deleted the invite and the email is not in use anywhere else. How do I change the email to the new user instead of my email?

I have changed the email address in both places (it took ages for the change to take effect) but I am still getting notifications to the old email address, I dont understand why this has not stopped.

I even deleted that address from gravatar as well but I am still getting mail to it.

I need to change the address where I get notifications that my contact form has been filled out. I would like to use [email redacted] - as the email that the notifications get sent to. It currently has administrator access but does not receive notifications. Instead notifications go to [email redacted]. I have tried updating the accounts primary email address but it is saying that [email redacted] is already in use. - I am unable to shut that old account down. Please can you advise me on how to receive email notifications of FEEDBACK FORMS at this new address. Thanks

under users > personal settings I am trying to change my email address, when I type in the one I want it to be used I get several errors (pasted below)

ERROR: That e-mail address is already being used.
ERROR: The email address is already used.

How can I get this email address to stick here?

I've attempted to change my email address to my new employment address, but the system says the change has not been completed. I attempted this change a couple of weeks or more ago. Is the email to make the change sent to my old employment address? I no longer have access to that address. I did not receive an email at my new address to be able to finalize the change. Thank you@

Thanks a lot for your answer, it helped me solve the issue.

I didn't realize there were 2 email addresses. I have just changed the one in the settings->general panel and I was able to change the other one (without getting this pending update status).

And I was able to achieve my goal that was to delete my site.

Hello,
I wanted to update the email address related to my account.
I have been getting this following message for a few days now :

"Il y a une modification de votre adresse de contact en cours, en faveur de [email redacted]."

Meaning : there is an ongoing email update.

I need the update to be completed in order to delete my site later on. I have no access any more to the previous email address then I need to update it prior to deleting the site.
