hello,

i have read a few articles about multi lingual options and pluggings but i do no really know the one that suites me.

Actually i want to make my site in two (maybe even 3 languages) because my prospect visitors are from different countries. I will translate the posts myself so no need for auto translate.

Ideally would automatically (im a beginner user) set up the same page in two languages with the option to change with a button (like flags for the country language) from one to another.

Every time i will make a post, page, subpage or whatsoever will ask me the language and i will choose one or another.

is that possible? or at least something similar?

there are so many options out there that for the ones that we dont know a lot is not easy to chose.

thank for the help.

Thanks for your interest in helping complete the Slovenian translation of WordPress.com!

We use a system called GlotPress to manage translations, which you can see here when logged in: http://translate.wordpress.com/

The Slovenian version of WordPress.com can be found here:

http://translate.wordpress.com/projects/wpcom/sl/default

To find out how to get involved, have a look at:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/glotpress/

http://en.support.wordpress.com/translation-faq/

You can start the ball rolling by making a request to become a Slovenian translator in the Translations Forum that timethief mentioned earlier. We also highly recommend that you get in touch with the WordPress.org Slovenian localization community.

My blog's main language is French. So all my email subscribers are French. However, when they click on the "manage your email subscribtions" (in French: "Gestion des souscriptions") at the bottom of their email, they're led to an English webpage.

That isn't very helpful for many of them. Is there a way for me to make that default page be in French? I know if they open a WP.com account, they can change the interface language. But 99% of my traffic is non-wp people.

I would greatly appreciate help here! Thanks ahead.
