I discovered that Lightroom 4 has a Export to Email feature and using WordPress's Post by Email feature I can easily send my image files directly to a new post, savings MANY steps! Yay! Lightroom will convert to sRGB, and make it the size you specify before exporting. SO COOL!

I just started using Lightroom but it appears to me that it does it all behind the scenes. You enter your login information for the site and select the photos you want to upload to your account on that site, set any parameters (sets/keywords, etc.) for the images and click Export. To export XML files requires a plugin for Lightroom but of course that adds an extra level of work. So I'll just prepare them in Lightroom and export them as JPGs to a folder and then import in WP from that folder, like I've been doing with Photoshop.

I don't have extensive knowledge about Lightroom but if it requires FTP access to do that, I'm afraid it's not possible in WP.com

They are only for WordPress.org installs. The themes we have here have been adapted to run on WordPress.com multiuser software.

Your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum. There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it.

I know I can create a great gallery in Lightroom which can be uploaded. If I host Elemin through wordpress.com can I do this i.e. can I create directories that I can send FTP to - or even better does it do it for me? Or, would I have to self host using .org for this?

If you wish to have complete control over a blog, the ability to upload themes and plugins into it, and to edit themes and templates, then your option is to hire a web host, and get a free software install from WordPress.ORG and self host it.
