I was wondering if there is any way to add a separating line between the excerpts of my blog posts as they appear in the blog roll - or if the space between the excerpts can be decreased...that would be great!

I was also wondering if there is any way to increase the width of the whole blog; including the content, or at least the side bar.

I already have the custom CSS upgrade.

I believe you can sort this though. Move your mouse to the lower right hand corner of the text box (you will see two diagonal lines). Your mouse should change to the Resize pointer (double arrows). Click and drag and you can re-size the box to whatever size you like.

Hi all. I've encountered a problem that never used to happen. When I make a list, or add to that list. like recipe ingredients, or the list in my recipe index, whenever I need to move a line up because there is a space between that line and the line above it..each line afterward has to be moved up - one by one. This never used to happen - I could just hold down shift + backspace and the original line, plus all under it, would move up together. It now takes forever backspacing up each line. Has something changed that you can help me with so I no longer have to spend a lot of time moving each line up, one by one, to prevent a space between the lines in the list?

Thanks in advance!

I'm looking to remove the two slanted white lines that came with Vertigo that lie just above my post title. I found a way to remove the rest but this one seems to have staying power (I'm pretty new to CSS, so I kinda just type in "display: none;" all over and see what happens). I'd also love to see how it would look if I could move those two lines all the way to the right so it is out of the way. But learning how to remove it altogether is the top priority - incase I don't like the way they look anywhere.

Thanks in advance,

The problem with adding a line between to variable height elements is that if one is longer than the other, in some cases the line will come out looking too short. To try to battle that in this case, I tried adding a border to the right of the content area and the left of the sidebar area at the same time and overlapping them. Try out this CSS and test it out:

.two-column #content {
	padding-right: 20px;
	border-right: 3px solid black;
}
#primary {

The images are fine in Internet Explorer or Firefox, and when I download them from Google Chrome onto my computer, the images are fine as well.
This only happens on my own WordPress (I've looked around on other blogs), only when displayed in Google Chrome, and on every computer or laptop I try.

Hi, in this page of my blog:

http://afterfindus.wordpress.com/cubetti/

lines are very widely spaced. I know it has something to do with the fact that each line contains one or more icons, but these icons are very tiny (15x20).
Is there any html tag I could use to have the lines more close to each other?
Thanks in advance,
