Hi there,
As mentioned before, there is a time lag on the stats. It should only be a few hours at most, but I have seen a few reports of longer. I have also seen a few questions arising from the stats related to countries.

I'll take this to the internal team and keep you posted.

Just to say that my yesterday's visitor/view ratio has at last adjusted from 81/509 to 135/509 - since midnight, that is. The visit count is moving normally this morning, and the other blog is moving in the right way also.

I did notice a while back, that the number of views from countries is often much less than the post-views beside it, particularly on a busy day.
Why is this?
I appreciate all your help and community.

I post a daily blog & today's post currently has 81 views - or nearly 2 views per visit. I find that hard to believe. There appears to be a problem with the visit counter.

I've had 6 visitors all day according to my stats yet I've had visits from 13 different countries - that math doesn't add up lol I understand that the stats are not real time stats, but this is the worst I've seen the stat page work in weeks - it prob. has something to do with the new feature of views and visitors.

WordPress.com stats are not real time stats. They are cached and take time to update. Also note that likes and shares are not linked to page views. In fact, likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can "like" and "share" your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat. See here for what I do to compel readers to read posts on my site > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2012/07/09/wordpress-followers-likes-and-stats
