Sometimes, the connection between Facebook and WordPress.com might get disconnected. Try following the steps listed in the following article, and let us know if any of the steps give you an issue:

I recently (within the hour of my posting this) entered something on my wordpress blog, but while it has appeared on my LinkedIn account and my Twitter account, it has not appeared on my Facebook page. What do I need to do to correctly this? It was working yesterday morning. Thanks.

Where are you trying to add your pages exactly? You should be able to do this in a text widget if all else fails.

Hello All,

I'm designing a blog and would like to link sharing buttons to a few of my Social Media Pages.

The accounts are BUSINESS Pages through LinkedIn, Google+, and Facebook. These platforms prefer you add a Business Page through your personal account.

When I try to add my PAGES it allows access to my personal accounts and will not allow me to grant access to my business pages.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so were you able to come up with a resolution?

Any advice is appreciated.

Right, the same is true for LinkedIn. All we can do is suggest the image. It's up to them to actually use it.

Typically they have a very limited set of criteria given size and other factors.

Thanks. But same thing occurred on LinkedIn. And this is the only one. If I try to post a previous blog again (such as the one the week before) the thumbnail photo appears. So I don't believe this is a Facebook or LinkedIn issue.

Ok, I see what you mean. Ultimately, we don't have the final say in what image Facebook chooses (or doesn't choose). Typically, the featured image should be used, but when it's not actually included in the post content, Facebook may ignore it.

Staff work from the earliest dated threads forward and bumping threads simply means the date/time moves forward so it takes longer to get help.

Same problem with LinkedIn this time...so not just a Facebook problem

Unfortunately, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include. I'm sorry, but nothing there relates to my problem since I'm getting it with both LinkedIn and Facebook and it only happened this one time.

I set a featured image on my blog but it did not show up when I tried to share it on LinkedIn and Facebook. I have done this many times before and every time the featured image always appeared on LinkedIn and Facebook postings.

Hello there,
I selected a Blavitar when I started the blog. I then used the "Publicize" feature to link my blog to FB and LinkedIn. I subsequently uploaded a new Blavitar. However, when my new blog posts automatically post to my FB and LI accounts, the old Blavitar still appears.
I tried unlinking and re-linking my FB and LI accounts, but that didn't work. Can you help, please, thanks.

When I try to install the wordpress app on linkedin, it says I have too much app installed altough I don't have any. Why, cruel world, why ?
(It already worked, I has it installed a few weeks ago and then uninstalled it, and now that.)
