In general a big improvement with better fonts that are clearer.

Just one thing. The older theme had a page template called 'links', and all links would be displayed on a page created with that template.

Now they have to be added by hand to get them all on a page. I've added some of them in to the Links page on that website but it is a tedious thing to have to do...

Really rather than alter the theme, a [links] shortcode would be better IMHO, with an optional list of categories e.g.

[links category1, category2]

No categories = display all links

This would make it easy to have a page listing them all in ANY template, not just those with a 'links' page template.

Alternatively you can use a Links widget > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/links-widget/ and you are correct there are no options for the widget.

I see an option for a Links widget to add to my sidebar (I have the misty theme if that matters), but when I move "links" over to select it to appear on my sidebar like the calendar, it tells me that "there are no options for this widget". What does this mean? How do I add options so that I can show my blogroll?

Thank you!

Note that the article I linked to above is only for free themes with Links page Templates and there's a reason for that. Wwe Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how the premium themes are designed to operate. You can use the searchbox in the Themes Showcase and limit your choices to Premium Themes only. Themes Staff do monitor threads in this forum and will reply to your Magazine theme question.

I'm looking for a new theme and considering a premium theme. I would like to have a blogroll/links PAGE instead of using a widget. I know some themes have page templates for this, but I'm trying to find out which themes.

For example, I like the "Magazine" theme, but from the demo it appears to only have page templates for "archive" and "blog".

I am using an ordinary free WordPress.com site, and I don't know anything about CSS, so I'm looking for the easiest solution!

Thanks! :)

The easiest way to add a list of links to a page is to temporarily insert a blogroll widget into your sidebar and add them. The look at your source code. Copy the blogroll and paste it into the html editor of the page. Remove temporary blogroll widget.

You can use the "find" function of your browser to find the list of blogroll links. Copy everything from < ul > to < / ul >

Of course when you add other links you'll have to insert new links by hand in html or by repeating the whole process.
