Seems to be a problem with customized CSS (or at least certain properties) only displaying correctly for the site owner. Looks ok for me but weird for the other six billion people... Perhaps an account/permission problem?

Hi,

I have the same problem as http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/image-size-shrink?replies=2#post-1253895 . My page shows my tiled (rectangular) galleries with very small images when not logged in to WordPress, but when logged in it looks fine.

I haven't seen this behaviour before, but then it's not often I'm not logged in to wp. Noticed the problem today because I booted up my new laptop, so at first I thought it was a problem in Win8/Chrome but since it disappears when I log in it shouldn't be.

On my main site, we want to allow anyone to be able to leave a question but only people who are logged in, and preferably a specific list of logged in people, are able to leave replies. Is there any way to do that? Thank you!

I clicked on that and it worked.

It hasn't done that particular thing before and I couldn't load any images onto any of the drafts I was working on either, although that resolved itself later in the day.

Thanks for your advice, funnily enough no amount of shouting at the screen helped.

Below the comment field, make sure that it says "You are commenting using your WordPress.com account."

If not, click the "Change" link to the right of it.

I'm logged into my blog and am editing posts etc. When I try to reply to comments it won't let me until I fill in the contact form.
Massively annoying.

I have logged out and back in again but it still hates me. Please help!

Literally hundreds of people have complained about this. As far as I know, there is no fix at the moment. WP.com changed something.

I just found out that users cannot comment on my blog without logging in. After looking in the discussion settings of my WordPress account, I discovered that the box that says "Users must be registered and logged in to comment" is UNCHECKED. So that's messed up and it doesn't surprise me, considering how few comments I get on my blog. Can someone please explain how I can fix this so that people can easily comment on my blog posts?

Hello all,

I need some help troubleshooting my blog at http://www.wahidsaleemi.com.

I recently switched to a new theme and it only shows up when I'm logged in. If I log out again, I see my old theme. In my admin pages I can see that my new theme is active and my old theme is not active (but remains installed). I asked someone else to try it (to ensure it wasn't just my username or my computer) and they got the same results. This leads me to believe its a wordpress issue with my install. I'm on WordPress 3.0

Anything I can check?

Last night I changed my settings to display my name as "Patrick T. McWilliams" instead of "SovereignLogos." Now, when I go to http://greenbaggins.wordpress.com/2010/03/29/a-retraction/#comment-72587 where I have made several comments around the #70 mark, I cannot see the comments with the updated display name, unless I am logged in. I am fairly certain this is not an issue of comment moderation on the part of the blog owner, so I am at a loss.

Hey, folks.

I posted two posts early this morning (2-18) and they only appear on my home page when I'm logged in. If I'm not logged in, the posts are simply not there. My Dashboard shows that they've been officially posted, but they don't appear unless I'm logged in. Any advice?

ah, of course - forgot to say that. But you really should have a look at your blog there - if you pull the window smaller, the elements end stacked, and you cannot read the posts. I am not sure what you have done, but you seem to miss a wrapper of some sort.

ah- I see - the sidebar is called menu. You could try adding something like
margin: 15px 0px 0px 0px;

if you pull the browser window, you will see that all your elements are "floating in space".

I am assuming you are talking about the sidebar, as I cannot see any other menubar.
