I made the first one for you, to Twitter. You can now add the rest, pasting in the correct CSS class for each account. I believe Luscious has icons for Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Then, save the menu and they should all appear in your site header.

Hi there,
Nice theme! We have instructions on how to set up the social media links in your header: start here, http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/luscious/support/ under the section "Placing Social Media Icons in the Header".

To add categories to your menu, go to Appearance > Menus in your dashboard, and you'll see on the left options to add Categories (it's the third expandable box under Pages and Links).

If you have further questions, we'll be happy to help -- you can also head directly to Premium Themes forums to get expert advice right from the theme designers, see http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/luscious.

Sorry, WordPress.com does not offer phone support at this time, but we can help you out with these issues.

We volunteers do not have access to premium theme you are using, but if you go to appearance > header, is there a place where you can set the color of the site title? If so, set your site title color to something other than white.

On the menu, you have two ways to go. By default, the top navigation menu will show all pages that you create. If you wish to show other things in the menus, or you want to make menus with submenus, you will want to create a custom menu.

Create a new menu, add the items you want to the menu and arrange them as desired, save the menu and then assign that menu to the primary menu location by selecting your menu name in the pulldown at upper left on the menus page in the theme location module. See this support document on the custom menus and let us know if you have any problems.

Luscious theme is not mentioned here. Has this theme stopped supporting Wordads? Is that why the ads are no longer displayed?

Do you know any way of replacing that banner with a different image?

Sure. First, create the image you'd like to use instead, upload it to your media library, and copy the image link.

Here is the original border image from the Luscious theme for reference:
http://s1.wp.com/wp-content/themes/premium/luscious/images/border.png

To figure out what CSS to use, I looked for any references to border.png in the original theme stylesheet:
https://s1.wp.com/wp-content/themes/premium/luscious/style.css?m=1344957909g&minify=false

I actually found two more selectors that I could have included before.

To replace the image, replace the url() values with the new border image you uploaded to your media library and add the it to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

#wrap,
#subnav {
	background: url("http://s1.wp.com/wp-content/themes/premium/luscious/images/border.png") repeat-x;
}

#comments h3,
.widget-area h4 {
	background: url("http://s1.wp.com/wp-content/themes/premium/luscious/images/border.png") bottom repeat-x;
}

#footer {
	background: url("http://s1.wp.com/wp-content/themes/premium/luscious/images/border.png") top repeat-x;
}

Well, one way to do this would be to upload an image of what you want the bullet to look like to your media gallery and grab that URL. Then, use CSS to call that image for the bullets.

In the below example, I'm using a fake URL of http://www.yourimage.jpg - your URL will be longer and have more slashes.

ul li {background-image: url(www.yourimage.jpg) no-repeat;}

You may need to do more tweaking than shown here, but you can get started with this.

Good luck!

Hi,

I have the custom CSS upgrade for my blog that uses the Luscious theme, and I want to customize the look of the bullets. Instead of the generic bullet, I want to use something like the stars that appear in the Vigilance theme (just an example). Is there a way to customize the look of the bullets using CSS?

I need help removing the luscious theme border image. It totally does not go with the color scheme on my site (it is pink/brown/yellow and my site is turquoise, and grayscale).

I read on a forum that you can edit it in ccs by entering this with the url for my image:

#subnav {
background-image:urlhttp://bethalexanderfitness.wordpress.com/files/2012/10/picture-11.png);
}

however, it is not working. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! The pink/brown/yellow needs to go :)
