Hi there,

I want to make a personal mailing adress with my wordpress site: moeremansandsons.wordpress.com, it is a free one. At the moment it is linked to the website http://www.moeremansandsons.com.
I was wondering if it was possible with wordpress to make one or more mailadresses with f.e. [email redacted] and [email redacted]
Does someone know if this is possible? Or do I have to check with the hostingsite?

dougterpening.com already has a zone record with us.

I've tried to add a Zone Record for the domain dougterpening.com but it asked me to contact support. Could you please add the Zone Record for me?

Hello, I am trying to figure out how to get mail to [email redacted]. I bought dougterpening.com from Google Apps 2 years ago, which is in partnership with GoDaddy. bought the right with WordPress to go directly to http://www.dougterpening.com.

So GoDaddy is pointed to WordPress. It appears I need a DNS number or Site verification to be put into my WordPress settings to get the mail going?

I hope this makes some sense to you. Any help or next steps would be greatly appreciate.

Hi everyone,

As the title says I am not receiving e-mails in my Zoho Mail that has my own domain. It has already been validated but still no messages.

I don't know if the problem is that I am missing something or that I need to delete the DNS for Google Apps which was my original provider.

The subject says it all. When reading an ebook with my iPhone and iBooks I can share some text snippet via mail. I would have liked to send the mail to the secret address to post to that WordPress blog, for sharing and archiving purposes, but it doesn't work.

The mail gets published as a new post but the body is empty, I guess there is some format issue with the way iBooks create the mail.

I tried removing blank lines and putting the end code at the end of the body, no joy.

If I use the copy feature amongst iBooks share options, pasting into a new mail, it works, but that takes much longer.

Any hint or workaround?

Dear All,

Need this help urgently. Please tell me how to do this: When somebody subscribes to my post, they get an email each time I post on my blog. In that mail they see the complete post. Now I want that only in the mail, they should be able to see only some portion of the post and for the rest of it, there is a "read more" button which directs the user to my website.

Please tell me how to do this.

Torsten, the Customizer credits strings are now available for translation and you can search for them in GlotPress.

The supportpage for deleting a blog writes about the email you get when deleting your blog. It shows a picture of the email text.

I can't seem to find this text in translate.wordpress.com. Is this still the text a users gets mailed when deleting his blog or have there been changes in the process?

I have, after some deliberation, decided that I really do not want to allow e-mail subscriptions for my blog .

Now, I have disabled "Subscriptions" in Jetpack, but a few questions:

Does turning off subscriptions in the Jetpack settings mean Jetpack stops sending e-mail to subscribers?
If not, how can I purge the entire subscriber list? (Short of disabling Jetpack altogether, which I would really like to keep for other reasons

Well, yes, I know mature links are not supposed to be dropped in the forum, but how am I to know that's what's going on with you? I had no idea what your blog was.

And yes, it's an issue with Gmail. If you're in Google Docs, for instance, and copy a link in the document, Google inserts all kinds of junk code. It's a Google specialty.

Okay. And I posted the forum remark from elsewhere that you can't get a virus from a tinyurl.
I can't find it in my Program Files, so it's an on line service? But I s eem to have an account there, and I don't see how I can annul that account. I want to get rid of it.
Remains the problem with the links in Gmails. at the moment, I have no mails to send and I could send one to friends, but the link will work for them because they are regular visitors to my blog.
It's very odd that the relatively short and simple url address I have, needs sending twice. The second time around it always works. But then, I use the AnswerThisMail, in stead of sending a repeat link in a whole new mail...
So it may be a Gmail feature after all.

Yes, that's correct — it's a general page. (I'm sorry I didn't give more details in my previous reply.)

That TinyURL page saves a cookie in your browser so that if you ever come across a TinyURL link you need to click, you'll first see the URL you were initially going to be redirected to.

Basically, it gives you the choice to continue to the actual URL (or not).
