You upload the images from your computer to the page via the Add Media button of that page; once they're all uploaded, you click "Save all changes"; the window that will pop up includes "Insert Gallery".

When I read the WordPress documents on how to make a gallery, I cannot find the gallery tab below the media button as it has been described. I have uploaded all my images with titles, alternate text and captions - ready to go - but I just can't make a gallery of thumbnails which will enlarge when hovering. Help would be hugely appreciated. Julie
