I disconnected my Twitter connection from a PC by accident. Can I re connect it using my mobile phone? Note: I have tried the "Settings" option from my dashboard, but that does not let me open the sharing tab; all I get is "General Settings" where you set the time. Can I do this from my mobile phone, or do I have to go to a PC?

There are many ways to post to WordPress.com via your mobile.

Pointing your mobile browser to m.wordpress.com is one of the easiest way to publish posts on your wordpress.com blog.
There are several apps for smart phones, developed by WordPress.
You can also post by email using your phone.

P.S. We can't tell you about a new phone and data plan. ;)

Although the blog is here the app itself has it's own support area. You will be the first to use it :)

I have recently downloaded the WordPress Android App and have logged into my two blogs.

I have watched the video of how these work.

Once I have written the blog and saved it, when I want to upload it, I should tap the title and it should open a window and allow me to send it to my blog.

But when I tap, I get the tap echo but nothing opens so I can't send it to my blog.

I am using the HTC Hero, does anyone know if there is an issue with that Android phone?

I am one of the beta users and I have found the feature very convenient and useful. However, it doesn't work when replying from the same email account that's setup on my cell and I haven't figured out why. Wonder if there's a difference between SMTP protocols on different device that needs to be 'enabled'.

Please consider completing a forum search
because other wp members have provide answers
on how to blog from email.

Also right now it's in beta stage but is closed for sign up
now when the new wp dashboard is released you will be able
to reply to comments on your blog from email.

Well, it's kind of hard to answer your question when you haven't even established that you have a blog here at wordpress.COM. Provide a link to your blog and consider linking it in your user name as explained in the sticky, 8 Things, at the top of the forum.

Why does Blogger allow us to set up an e-mail for allowing for either text messaging or e-mailing of posts whereas WordPress doesn't. I would love to use both text message (twitter is awesome here) and e-mail to post when I don't want to get into an interface through the web... I like the iPhone app but sometimes I use a Treo or Blackberry to access WordPress stuff. And I would prefer something much better than the mobile WordPress website...

Hope that someone can answer this issue.

Home Page blue dashboard still AWOL- displays OK on all pages apart from Home Page. Using IE 6. Have cleared temp IE files and cookies but still fails to display when logged into Home Page, which means access to admin pages only accessible through Meta Admin widget. Have not cleared temp files as not sure what is meant by not deleting "files which have not been modified in last week". Any other suggestions welcomed.

Thanks. Yes typing the /wp-admin does help but still prefer the norm where the dashboard is display. Will try feedback.

I had this trouble on and off all last night on IE6. It's a backend issue, so do send a Feedback and maybe the WPers can get it sorted for you.

Also, you can generally get to your dashboard by taking the URL of your blog and adding /wp-admin to it. You have to be signed in for that to work, of course, otherwise it just takes you to the signin page.

Also, the blue bar is the absolute last thing to load when you're on the main blog page, so be sure you're being patient enough.

The only javascript that is used on our blogs at wordpress.com is used by staff. If clearing your browser has not worked then I'm afraid you will have to send a feedback into staff. This is because volunteers do not have backend access to blogs and only staff do. The button is on the top right hand corner of any blog page.

But before you do that would you tell us what browser and version of it you are using please? Perhaps drmike can help you if you provide this information.
