It's not you average Twilight-like monster blog. Sure, I do like the books, but SMCTD is "monsters for a new age". They don't sparkle, and they kill people. BUT they're funny doing it. This blog is a funny, whimsical satire of the life of those trying to grow up in this world. It's (hopefully) entertaining to all walks of life, and can give you a good laugh. It may not be what you're used to in a blog, but what's the harm in trying something new? You could find it becomes a bright, light-hearted spot in your day, with even a little insightfulness (Is that a word? I don't think so, but let's suspend disbelief for a minute, shall we?) thrown into the mix!
Stick with it, I'm new at this and I'm sure I'll smooth out any rough edges (which I'd love for you to point out to me in the comments). Even if you really don't like it, tell me why so I can improve. I'll try to update everyday, although if I miss a day don't give up on me.
