Regardless of the theme in use these are the video embeds that WordPress.com supports for all of our blogs - no upgrade required. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/

See here for the videopress upgrade which allows you to upload videos from your computer for hosting and playback directly within your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/videopress/

But note that if you upload your own videos to youtube or fileden, etc. that you don't need to purchase the upgrade to embed the videos into blog posts or pages.

Since we are not you and have no clue where you hid the video - how about some sort of link to the video you want to embed? Until we have more to go on nobody can help you more

Please don't create multiple threads on the same topic. It just creates confusion in the forum and wastes time.

As for the URL it's very simple. You're on this web page right now; every page has a URL that is unique to it. If you look up to the top of your browser window you'll see a very narrow long box that has this in it:

That is the URL. To get the URL of any YouTube video, you go to the page the video is on, then in the URL window at the top of the page, you copy the URL, all of it. If you click on the YouTube URL I gave you above, it goes to a page with an Elvis Costello video. To make that video display in your blog, you just follow the instructions we gave you in the other thread, using that URL, the same one that's above, which is also the same one you'll see in the URL window when you go to YouTube.

I have tried to find my url on you tube but could not even know where to start. Any suggestions? Also please be advised I am not computer savvy.

After the word "watch" in the URL you don't put anything. You leave what was there in the browser bar there where it is.

You go to the page on YouTube that has the video. Once you're on the page, in the browser bar, you copy the entire URL that is listed there. That is what you put in the blog. You don't start truncating it at the word "watch" and just adding on whatever you want. If you want to direct people to your account at YouTube, go to your profile page and copy the URL from the browser bar.

I know that wasn't a full url. After the word 'Watch" in the url do I put where the many blog readers can find my videos? i.e.
http://www.youtube.com/watch/channelingthey/ ????
Is This correct? And if so is it pretty easy to put the videos onto the blog? thank you :)

That's not a full URL. You need the actual full URL from the browser bar, like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-BZIWSI5UQ and you do not mess with it in any way.

I asked once before about getting a video from you tube and I have the url as

Do I keep the the word 'watch' in the url listing or do I add the name of my youtube address in the space? Also Do I past the url in the space? And how can I fix any minor problems that may occur? Thank you for understanding, and for your concern.

First, please make sure that your browser is up to date by visiting http://whatbrowser.org/

If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

If it is, please do these four things:

2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled: http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/

3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you're using if you're still having trouble.

dear all,

the notification tab on the page below mentioned link (and for the other three tabs - reader/stats/my blog), is not working.

when i take my arrow there, it just keeps loading. please look into it as it instantly alerts on any comment etc or reply and is very easy to keep note of all the conversations and other alerts.

I was told to stop sending this thread to the forums, but I keep getting the same e-mail link responses, which don't help with my problem. The issue is that I can get onto my account and the administrative page. When I log in, I can see my published content. When I type the wordpress link, I cannot find what I have ostensibly published. The usual e-mail links don't help me. Should I just add another page and retype the blog I have just published? As I have said before, the first two blogs came up readily; the last one does not. The last person who responded to me told me she had referred it to a staff member and that I should subscribe to see the response. I don't know how to do that.

I just received a response with several links, but none of them worked. I can get into my account and administrative page, but not into the published blog. I can get into the published blog on my sign in page, but when I type in the address, nothing published comes up. I tried it on another computer but could not get anything under my address. I was given a link that led me to My Blogs and told to hover there for another link. However, no other link came up. I need a way for people to see my published blog. Again, I don't have any trouble getting into my account but can find nothing published unless I look on my sign up page. Then I can find the published blog.

I have published three blogs. With the first two, I had no problem getting into the published blog. With the third, I can get my administrative page and my account but cannot find the published blog. I have used another computer to check, but nothing comes up. Somebody answered me by giving me the administrative page link. I can get onto my account but cannot retrieve the published blog. The blog I need help with is eladinpanzeractivelife.wordpress.com.

You are wrong that not all threads are related to the [display-posts] plugin. If seen your answers in other posts, you don't seem to know much about WordPress except post a post. So don't answer when you don't know the answer. That's all I can say.
