Hello!

I'm currently publishing a Photoblog with one image per post. To rate this singe image I'm using the GD Star Rating Plugin which perfectly provides voting for a single post. To show normal pictures of events or journeys, I'm using the NextGEN Gallery Plugin. This displayes one gallery on one page with a list of 36 images per page. I would like to implement the GD Star Rating functionallity in every single image in every gallery. Is this possible? Does a bridge or something similar allready exist for things like that?

Thanks in advance!

Hey supportive wordpressers,

I've finally found a simple theme that suits my style photographically and I basically have everything the way I want it.
Just a few minor things that me and my web friends cannot seem to figure out....

1] I design on a Mac 1920 x 1080, looks great. Clipping occurs on some smaller resolution computers and it's not a vertical scrolling theme.

2] The home page side scroll is not functioning.... I have more "posts" which means the home page should scroll to the right with more photos.

3] This may need to go in the NextGen forum, but I have custom fields to link photos within portfolios back to the original posts, yet clicking on a photo within the portfolio just refreshes that same page. I found the coding for the gallery function in some other forum, can't remember exactly.

http://www.eyeconic-photography.com

Thanks in advance, everyone.

Hello,

I really love the plugin For the gallery because it is very easy to use and until today i had no problems.

But now i have made a new Homepage for a friend and i have the problem, that after i activate the Nextgen-gallery plugin, that my dropdown (dropside ;) Menu no more works right. If u look at the following link u will see on the left Menu the link "Dekoration". If u hold ure mouse over it there comes a dropdown menu to the right side, until here it is normal, but if u will go with ure mouse to the dropdown menu to select a underpage the dropdown menu go away so fast that u cant select a page link.

Here the link:
http://www.calla-deko.de

If i go to deactivate the plugin the menu works fine, and when i reactivate it the problem comes back.

So is there any idea how i can fix this (little) problem? Im not a big programmer, so i would be really happy if someone can help me.

Best regards
Mark

To answer my own question, edit the post and use the HTML editor to enter the following:

<a class="shutterset_set_8 title="Image_Title" href="http://yourblogURL/wordpress/wp-content/gallery/gallery_name/image_id.jpg">Text_Link</a>

This will link to the image "image_id", with a description "Image_Title" from gallery "gallery_name"

Simple request: I want a text link to pop up an image that floats over the page and which closes when you click on it. Exactly as NextGen gallery images do - but I don't want to click a thumbnail, I want to click a text link

I have NextGen installed & working if that is any help

Thanks!
