We do require the WordPress and theme credits stay in the footer. Although trust me, no one is looking at your footer with those amazing photos :)

I think it would look nicer if the menu were full width instead of being a little off-center as it is right now. Try playing around with this CSS in your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor to see if this looks better to you:

This theme is a third-party theme, and it looks like a similar question to yours was asked here:

It looks like the theme doesn't natively support the ability to go full-width in blog posts, but that you can if you're comfortable editing CSS.

When I was searching for the information this topic was also one of the first results in google for this issue. So I figured I'd try to help out not only alydonnnelly, but anyone else that might find the code useful.

This does require that you purchase the css upgrade to keep the change, however if you accumulate enough changes then it's definitely worth it to buy it.

People on widescreen (if you are talking about big, wide monitors) are actually quite rare.

1024x768 -- 40.28%
1280x1024 -- 16.97%
1280x800 -- 16.89%
1440x900 -- 7.71%
1680x1050 -- 4.28%
800x600 -- 4.01%

That means over 78% of people are on resolutions of 1280 px wide or less.
