what does this mean?

It means you need to be more patient and let the stats update later in the day. Stats can be delayed by hours.

They're also not really all that accurate to begin with. Many people employ blocking tactics to keep themselves from being tracked and logged.

If you don't then it is possible that your blog didn't receive any visitors. Tell people about your blog whenever you are comfortable doing it - personally the last one I started I think I told some friends about the 3 rd post - some people change the look and feel of the site and they wait until they have the site looking like they want.

Rule # 1 - have fun - if you are not having fun you are doing it wrong.
