That is the main problem. Yeah, i can see a play button kinda thing but thats too not clickable. May be its because my browser doesnt support javascript. Well , i am going to try and solve using PC with the help of your suggestions. Thanks a lot. :)

There should be a small button at the bottom of the dashboard sidebar that looks like a play button--this will re-expand your dashboard.

Can you toggle the sidebar using a full-featured, non-mobile browser?

and i basically use mobile internet for browsing wordpress. I cant see <collapse menu link again. Now i can see just the icons of the menu. Dashboard,themes etc.
I have tried every browser available for mobile. But couldnt find the solution.

I'm using Firefox 14.0.1 and that links works for me.

Will you please provide some specifics so we can determine what's causing your issue?

If you are using IE9 and running it in compatibility mode then know that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported.

(1) How are are connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com?

I'm asking because the way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers. Also note that the main dashboard isn’t designed to work with touch devices through the tablet and smartphone browsers.

(2) Exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out > http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ and post the results here please.

(3) Have you tried?
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version) http://browsehappy.com/
using another browser
