I hope someone can help me!
I'm not sure which version of WordPress I'm currently running but I've recently changed my theme to Twenty Ten. However, on both blogs I run, I'm getting the following message on my home page:

"Not found. Apologies but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help."

Also, I've created categories in my widgets and added a post to a couple of them and the categories are not appearing on the right side of my blog. What am I doing wrong?!

If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com please do these four things:

Replace with:

Yesterday I was uploading old text posts that I had written, and everything was showing up fine, but now the last four text posts I have written aren't showing up.

I've tried changing my theme and it hasn't fixed anything.

If I post from the app on my iPhone, the post shows up, which is weird. I want to post from my computer, though.

It looks like your blog is on wordpress.org, and there is a big difference between wordpress.com and org.

I activated and edited the theme 'Landscape' by Blankthemes, since then whenever I activate a new theme and then 'visit site' it always remains as the previous 'Landscape' theme.

Also, new posts, pages, etc do not appear on the 'Landscape' theme. It as though it is frozen. As of right now, in my 'manage theme's' it shows that my current theme is 'RYU' but when I click on view theme it always goes back to the 'Landscape' theme.

I have tried all troubleshooting options. Please help!!

I am confused-
I assumed after viewing some of the threads
here that this was a good spot to mention
how the theme I tried to use, had functioned.

The top of this page here reads '

That theme is not available here at WordPress.com. There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we cannot upload any third party themes. We can use only the themes found here > Appearance > themes and showcase here > http://wordpress.com/themes/

That's how I know that the site you refer to is not being hosted by WordPress.com and you are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here. Support for your website software and any advice you need are provided on the WordPress.org support forums and they are here http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don't have a username account at WordPress.org, click that link and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the correct support forums for your software.

This appears as a very nice looking Theme-
i appreciate the graphic design of the modules/sidebar tabs
looks smooth, clean .
-yet
The photo slideshow is inoperative-
the menu at the top has disappeared-
it was fun checking out the various features.
I am done using it, since the menu does not work
and the photo carousel- or 'slideshow' for media
does not work.

He, thanks for your reply.
I did not want to give that url so i tried to duplicate this problem elsewhere.. Installed it on a demo WP install and it works very well over there. So any idea what is causing the error? Maybe a plugin or something, anything known?

Hi,
I just installed the mixfolio theme, but am I missing something here?
I created a post with the notation 'gallery' and added some media (image gallery) and some text. I saved the post, but when i take a look the gallery tab shows nothing and the info tab shows the image thumbs and text.

How to get the images under the gallery tab and the text under the info tab?
Any ideas?

Yes, you're doing something incorrectly: you're trying to use line breaks inside captions, and this messes the code. Image captions are meant for a single line of plain text - no line breaks, no links, no nothing.
Best thing to do is delete everything and re-do the page, inserting the images without captions and adding the texts as regular text below each image.

I have a page that I add to frequently with an image and attached caption. However, my images will no longer display. From my dashboard I see what looks like a broken image icon, however the caption information does still display. I have done this many times in the past without an issue. This problem only appears to have arisen since the media upload process/interface has changed. I'm not sure if I am doing something incorrectly or if this is a bigger problem.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and here we provide support only to free hosted WordPress.COM bloggers.

You may be able to recover an earlier post revision. Go to Posts > All Posts, hover over the title of the post, click Edit and check the Post Revisions module for previous saved versions of the post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/

If you're not seeing the Revisions module while on the editor screen, click Screen Options (top right corner of your Admin page) http://en.support.wordpress.com/screen-options/ to activate it. Then select the post and page modules to include them. http://en.support.wordpress.com/modules/#list-of-modules Then you ought to be able to go here > Dashboard > All Posts > Posts and locate the post and recover it from post revisions.

Did you create your post on the dashboard of your own blog?
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
