How are you connecting to the internet and to WordPress.com? The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.

Are you using http:// or https:// see http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/

Which browser and version of it are you using? Have your tried clearing your browser cache and cookies? http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clear-your-cache-and-cookies

Is your browser version up to date? You can upgrade any browser version here.

Do you have third party cookies enabled? Do you have another browser you can try?

Have you done an anit-virus scan on your computer recently?

If that doesn't work, I'd suspect your ISP or maybe something else installed on your computer.

There have been a few cases of problems with ISP's or some countries taking down all access to WordPress.COM but Australia is not a country I have seen any problems in the forum with.

The links in my posts are playing up. Has WordPress done this? There is a political storm going on in Australia at the moment in raltion to some of the content which other media have been reporting on.

I have been receiving complaints from readers in the UK (I am now based in Australia should this have any bearing on the issue), that the links found within posts on my blog are no longer working for them (previously links have worked for them, but in the last few months they have all stopped working).

I have tried to troubleshoot the issue, but I can't seem to recreate it myself, everything works fine for me on a Mac running Safari 5.0.1, I have even tried viewing my site via my UK proxy server to try and 'fool' wordpress into thinking I'm a UK reader, but still no issue, but I have no reason to believe my readers are lying!

From what I've gleaned so far from google, some people have had problems with the links going through go2.wordpress.com. I wonder if this is my issue?

Please help, I'm a bit fed up of recieving emails about a problem I have no idea how to recreate let alone solve.

Helpfully, links in my blog are orange and bold should you need to find one to test : )
