I believe you may referring only to your email subscribers rather than the total if those who use the WordPress.com Reader to follow your blog.

Your site stats page displays how many followers you have, who your followers are, as well as how many people are subscribed to post comments on your site.

Dashboard > Site stats > Total, 'Followers' , Shares

Click "blog" and when that page opens click "email followers"

It shows on my home page that I have 216 followers. ''Join 216 other subscribers to this blog''. However in my stats I only have 26 listed. Please can you tell me how to find the rest of my followers that I can't see in my stats.

Yes, but it may take some time for it to appear. Also note that if the post has been assigned a category or tag that's among the most popular ones then the display of posts under popular tags is randomized. As there are over 32 million randomization of posts is due to how many posts are published under those most popular categories/tags every minute of the day.

Look at the very last line in the editor box under any post or page and you will find it.

Oh, I just realised that I tagged more than 10 words. is there a chance of getting to the new topics when I have deleted them now?

Is there a way to count the words as you write your post or have them counted at the end of you post plus a stat that tells you how long it will take to read.

I saw this on another online blog but wasn't able to get the info on how it is done. Wondering if WordPress does it.

There are multiple threads on this issue. Have you confirmed that none of these reasons apply? global tags > missing posts

The global tags pages now referred to as Topics have been broken for a long time perhaps due those legions who spam it and who try to game it everyday day in and day out. Staff decided to focus on integrating the topic browsing experience with the Reader and to discontinue the old listings. The flow of traffic from the global tags pages to my blogs has never ever been sigificant and at best is negligible. It's Google that sends traffic to blogs. Search spiders are focused on keywords found in content. Tags are not required for SEO purposes and Matt Cutts of Google makes that clear Revisiting Keywords and Tags

Hi there,

it's me again. Sorry. I just have a little problem. I just posted a new post some thirty minutes ago, but when I go to the topics I tagged the post in, I can't find it and I think that nobody else sees it, cause normally I get some more traffic on the blog, but in this case, I didn't. Do you know what's wrong here?

A category won't show up in the widget unless there's at least one published post filed under that category. Makes sense: categories are groups of posts, so there's no point displaying a group of zero posts.

i made a set of five categories for my blog and after i hit save i went to the blogs page and under categories it still just says randon with none of the ones i made listed

I have had the same problem with 2 email followers since yesterday. They do not show up as followers, their views were not counted on the stats page, and I did not receive the email notification of a new follower.
One of them resigned up this morning, and it went through just fine. Their first subscription never registered though.

I am also having the same problem on my blog. I know certain followers are signed up and receive emails for new posts but they are not listed in on the followers list.

On my new blog, there are at least 2 followers (email) who are receiving posts and not showing up as followers when I check in dashboard. I know that they are receiving the email for each post - not clear why they don't show up in my list. Problematical! Is there any way they could be revealed so I can track all of the followers?

Sometimes the user name is the same as the blog title sometimes not.

Best I can guess is to ask the staff for help. WordPress.COM will not give out information about a blog - but maybe you can have them generate an email to from the blog to the email of record for a blog. The staff also have access to a bit more info than we do.

Hey thanks for answering. Yes, of course, there is no email there. I receive emails from wordpress OK. I received for recovering my "anemozali" username correctly. But I said this blog is not listed in there.

Do you know if the first part of the URL is also your username? Or can you have a different username and a different URL? I don't remember because the blog is so old now and I haven't used the site in years. If that's the case then the email for "anemodoura" is being sent to another email. But I am fairly sure I used the same email.

Is there a way to find out what email is associated with a blog?

Hello, I would appreciate any help with my problem. Here goes:

I had an old blog some years ago. This is the URL: http://anemodoura.wordpress.com/

I stopped writing there, now I want to access it again. At first I couldn't remember either my username or password. So I gave my email and asked for a recovery. Turns out my username is "anemozali". So I reset the password also, I access my account and there is no blog there to be found.

The weird thing is that my blog's address is "anemodoura" and not "anemozali". I don't remember if the first part of the blog's URL is actually your username or if you could pick another name for the URL. I also tried recovering a password for the username "anemodoura" - it says that the email has been sent but I never receive anything.

I am fairly sure I used the same email that I use now back then. Can someone please help with this problem? I am willing to provide any information needed in order to prove that the above mentioned blog is mine.... Thank you.

I corrected all tags and categories. No there is no post with more than 12 tags inclusive categories. However, the posts are still not listed in the related tag listings.

So now all my blogs are dropped of - due to my greed ;-) but how can the get revived?
Will this be solved automatically? Should I write to wordpress? Is it just as it is without chance to remove this problem?

Have you done a search of the forum? It's a relatively common issue.

It has these tags and categories:

That's far too many. Blogs tend to get dropped off the tag and category pages for tag spamming when they use significantly more than 12 tags and/or categories.
