1. When you are done writing the post look at the right side and you will find several menues. One of them is named "Visibility". Click it and then check where is says "make this post sticky". You will now have one sticky post. Repeat for two sticky posts.

2. Are you talking about the featured image option?
After you are done writing the post look at the right side of the screen. At the bottom right you will find the featured image option. Choose your image and you are done.

Dear WP!

I have 2 question:

1. I've start to use Suburbia theme and when I upload the posts the main page doesn't appear like in Suburbia demo: like 2 bigger & wider columns on the top of page and then in the second and further rows the straits column....As you see on my blog I have immediately from the top of the main page straits columns? I tried to clean my cookies but the problem stayed the same:( What have I do?

2. I don't understand where or how can I upload/insert my picture inside post to be visible outside like the cover of post at main page? I see only one (bambus) post photo but I've also uploaded photos in other posts but there dissappear or they are invisible outside (I can see it only inside post). I've tried to compare with one visible photo what is wrong but I can not find anything.

Please help me and thank you in advance

Hello all,
I am trying to post for the first time. When I create a post with multiple images and short description at the end, everything looks fine in preview. But once published there are no images - only text and a clickable title which takes to my post with images. I need everything be visible on front page. Please help! Thank you.

And I'm very thankful for your reply, but I do feel like there are nicer ways to reply to people. I completely understand that people here are volunteers, but sometimes you guys respond in a mean way. I did read your reply as 'mean', but maybe that wasn't you intention :)

I also know/understand that the problem isn't regarding the language. I was just wondering if it was possible to do, such as with other themes, where you can set a 'keyword' in the posts, to have them appear in the front page. Now I know that's not possible in this one.

I don't see why you consider my reply "pompous and stingy". In essence you asked the same question again. The problem has nothing to do with the language, it has to do precisely with the fact that you cannot exclude a post from showing on the main posts page. And I gave you the correct solution from the start: you need two blogs, and you need to link from the one to the other.

There's no way to do that using a single blog: you need two separate blogs.

I've read other threads about issues similar as this, but I haven't found the answer I'm looking for.

My blog is both in English and Spanish. I want to have the English version of the posts in the home page (with the slider, etc), but have the Spanish posts in a separate category. The problem is that, when I post the ones in Spanish they, too, appear on the front page. Obviously, it looks silly to have repeated posts.

I could also have them click a 'Click here for Spanish' link in each post but, again, the Spanish version would show up on the front page, too. Any ideas?

I do want to keep the slider there, so making a static page doesn't seem like an option. Thanks very much!

Asides are post formats. You can edit the posts select Standard in the Format module, click Update.

When I scroll through the posts that show up in my Reader, I see the clickable titles of the various posts. However, not all of the titles show up. I would like the titles of my posts to show up in my followers' readers. How can this be fixed?

In settings, reader I just clicked off infinite scrolling and used 7 posts per page and it works.

I have located the blog linked to your username. You have only two posts and have deleted the Hello World post. When a visitor clicks a link to a post or page that has been deleted that is the message they receive. When they enter a link incorrectly that is the message they receive. When a new WordPress.com blogger deletes the placeholder "Hello World" post then they likewise experience a 404 (page not found). That error page will disappear immediately after thy publish a post.

I just started a blog, published a post and shared a link on facebook.
I logged out and went to the blog url and when i click on the post, a page comes and says
"Well this is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching, or one of the links below, can help."
None of my friends can read the post as well. the link just redirects to the page which has the above lines.
Please Help!!

Did you CSS edit your theme when it was using the Twenty Ten theme? If so then CSS is theme specific. If you have custom CSS and later change themes, you need to delete whatever CSS you have in the Editor, otherwise, you’ll get undesired results.

To ‘reset’ a theme, you need to delete the CSS in the Editor, make sure the “add to existing CSS” radio button is checked, then save. Things should go back to normal.

Also note that Fresh News is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. Posting to this forum is not likely to be productive. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer. Hello all!

I'm fairly new to wordpress, and having been using it just fine until this evening! I have been working on a post, and hit "save draft" so I could look at and edit some images that I planned to upload and post along with my new blog post and when I returned, I could not see any of the post I had just written! eek! I closed completely out of IE and logged back into wordpress, looked at the actual blog and tried to "edit" it again, but there is absolutely nothing in the draft, its blank! I even tested it again, by typing something into the draft, "saving" it and trying to view it again so i could "edit" this post and it's missing! How do I retrieve it??
