I've got a weird problem with tables in Nuntius. Somehow there's a grey "bar" in the table which isn't defined anywhere.
You can see it here and here. As you can see the grey bar isn't for the complete cell, but only a part of it. I can't find it anywhere in the CSS, nor can I find it with Firebug. Does anyone what's causing this weird look?
I'd like to solve it, cause I think it makes the tables look very messy.

I've got a table with text and pictures. In each row I want the text and picutures to align to the vertical top. Normally I'd use valign="top" but for some reason it doesn't work with my theme (Nuntius). You can see how messed up the table looks like, here:

I noticed the same problem with the Oxygen theme.
Do I need to adjust something in the CSS, or am I looking at it the wrong way?

I really want to solve this problem, since it's looking like an unwanted mess right now.

To use the "News template" you must first create a static page (you can call it "Home") and another one called "Blog".

When you create the "Home" page, set the Template to "News Template."

Then go to Settings -> Reading, and you can set the home page to "Home" and the Blog listing page to "Blog."

Most people tend to look there if they don't see what they're looking for. I'd suggest, though, using the home page for a select few "featured" posts (by putting them in their own category, and setting that category for the home page in the theme settings), so it's less confusing.

You just need to add that page to your Menu for others to be able to access the rest of the posts.

It appears that your home page is set to a static page with the "News" template being used.

To show all of your blog posts, either set your home page to be your blog list, or create a separate "Blog" page for the rest of your posts.

Go to Settings -> Reading to set these.

Thanks for putting the featured category back. The theme appears to be working correctly.

I see you are hiding the featured category section by the following in Custom CSS.

#category-highlight {
	display: none;
}

But this doesn't mean the posts in the featured category move to More Articles section, if you are trying to do so. So the lates six posts are not visible.

More Articles section displays posts that are not in the featured category section (the latest six posts from the chosen category) to prevent duplicated contents show up on the home page.

Hope it clarifies how the theme works.

Thanks for the report but it's a bit difficult to see what was going on your blog since you worked around by changing the featured category. Would you mind to put the featured category back so that I can see what is really going on?

I've tested the theme on my test blog but I didn't see anything weird at a glance, but if you can replicate the issue I might be able to find something is wrong in the theme.
