I'm new to WP and blogging but have a site I am working on.
My question:
Is ther a way that I can set up a slider within a menu and eliminate the sliding activity in the home page.
Example: When opening my site the slider activates and includes everything I set into slider movement from all menu departments.
When I go to my home page I only want that slider to show.
When I go to my State Links page I want to utilize a slider for each state and don't want it to be part of the Home page slider.

(Image list mode with it's 1 post per row is no alternative for that.)

All headers are different sizes depending on the theme.

To make a backup of your current site, just go to Tools->Export and export the contents.
