However, the 'transfer ownership' option doesn't show when I mouseover the blog title in 'my blogs' in the dashboard.

I also can't change my user role in users> all users. When I try to, I get a message saying; "The current user’s role must have user editing capabilities".

This blog has custom domain names & has my friend as an administrator too. I'm wondering if this could be the problem somehow.

I'm trying to verify ownership of my wordpress site (akmininginfo.org) with google. There are a couple of methods, and I can't figure out how to do any of them.

method # 1: paste a meta tag into the <head> of my homepage. How do I access the <head> section for my wordpress blog?

method #2: Upload an HTML file to to the site.
Is there a way to do that? WordPress doesn't allow me to upload an html file.

method 3: do it through the domain name provider
I can't figure out who has the DNS records for my site. Does anyone know how to figure that out?
