Hey guys, I'm trying to change my main admin username under settings. However, when I click the "change" button, the page "blinks" several times and no dialog pops up to change the username. I've tried in three different browsers with the same result.

Any tips?

IE is the worst browser. I've been a regular in these forums for several years: whenever a problem proves to be browser-related, it's almost always IE, sometimes Chrome, almost never Safari or Firefox.

I have Chrome and IE. When Chrome won't refresh, I check the edits in IE (without logging in twice) but then after a couple of edits I have the same problem there.

Just did that. Weird, I had cleared my cookies before and it hadn't worked. For some reason, sometimes when I edit a post/page the changes don't show up when I view them. I have to clear the cache, turn off the browser and wait a few minutes before they show up. Frustrating. But this one is working now so thanks!

It says Coming Soon to me. Try the cookie dance: log out, clear your browser cache and cookies, and do a full restart.

I tried to publish a new page for my website and for some reason it's not showing up right. The page URL is http://aliannedonnelly.com/bastien/

and should say "Coming Soon"

But instead it's showing up like a blog post with the date and title and a large picture. Also has comments there, which I disabled in the editing process. I can't figure it out. Every setting is the same as all my other pages I don't know where I messed up. Can someone help me?

Some theme templates are code to include a "Home" tag. It's not an actual page it just a tab linked to the front page of the blog. It cannot be deleted from the Fusion theme. We cannot edit themes or templates on free hosted wordpress.com blogs.

Choice 1 - Change to a theme that does not have a Home tab. > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/category/homefrontblog-tab/

Choice 2 - Create a custom menu and don't include the "Home" tab in that menu. Put your own welcome page and any other pages you want in the menu, save the menu, and then from the "primary location" pulldown in the theme location module at upper left on the menu page, select your custom menu name and then click save.

Hello,
I have 2 "Home" Pages, one of them is working and present in the "pages" in the "dashboard" while the other isnt there.
I have tried deleting the working "Home" page but nothing happened. I also tried removing all pages but still nothing happened.
When only that page (and the RSS) is there, when I click it, it opens an error.
Any tips on what I can do?

I keep trying to add a page to my bog but every time I complete the steps it does not show up on my actual blog. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. It says that i published the new page 2 hours agao, but still don't see it on my blog.

What I am wondering green release is, did you just resently migrate your blog to this wordpress.com site?

If so check the Dashboard -->Reading--> "Front page displays" and see if it matches your old blog.

When I go on it with Internet Explorer it works perfectley. If you can't get it might be an error with Firefox.

Hello, can anyone help answer what just happened? My blog greenesrelease.wordpress.com with over 100 pages just vanished. if you try the link it just gives a Firefox page error. Please let me know if you can assist.
