Can't wait to see the new support forums. I hope for a sexy new theme.

Changes/fixes of the core products keep getting in the way.

I can't remember how often we heard that Automattic is planning to update bbPress (e.g. on modlook - April 2012, November 2011, April 2011). Can't wait to see it happen.

The date/time right beside your avatar in every post on this forum is a "permanent link to this post". When I reference one of the posts in another thread and you click on the link, the page opens and jumps to the comment. Unfortunately right behind the blue header in the forum. In other words the blue header flows over parts of the specific post.

Very irritating as you sometimes don't know which of the posts was referenced when the one in mind is very short.

Take for example thistimethisspace's post in my last topic. If you click the link, the first post you'll see is the one from James. It's because the other one is too short and vanishes behind the blue header.

I'm using Firefox 19.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 is this is of any help. Cache & Cookies have been reloaded.

I have a page with anchors like <a name="123" />.
This worked fine in some pages, but in a new page all text after this anchor is not displayed. What causes this and what can I do about it?

When writing them, I normally set up page jumps – eg. "Click here to skip to the section about XYZ."

But when the posts are published, the links still function but the coding for the anchor points, ie. <a>text</a> has disappeared.

Why? And what can I do about it?

I'm trying to create page jumps for an FAQ questions page on WordPress and I did but just untill question n. 22. I don't know why but the last three questions land to answer n. 23. I checked the code many times and it's exactly the same of the other 22 questions that work perfectly. So waht's wrong? There is a limited number of page jumps in a page? I copied the code below, just remind the 22 works.

<p>It will vary by country and centre but most often, yes.</p>

<p>Yes, all changemakers will receive 10 days of holiday to use for travelling or otherwise. Changemakers will also be off on all the school holidays. Because of a variety of ethnic and national holidays, these are numerous. School holiday's amount to around 2 months total, broken into week long, and single day occasions. SOLS is also very happy to accommodate requests for extra time off. We are flexible!</p>
<p>24. Is the one month training full time (8 hrs a day)? Do I have free weekends?</p>
<p>Training is full time – a typical day begins at 9 am and ends at 6 pm. Weekends and evenings will, for the most part, be at your disposal to spend as you like. However, there may be the occasional pre-arranged evening activity or special weekend training event.</p>

I am trying to jump to the beginning of a posting; I am not referencing something in the middle of the posting.

I am trying to create a page jump from my most recent posting to a past posting. I have referenced Support: Splitting Content » Page Jumps as well as a forum question November 30, 2007, "How to set up a jump between pages?"

This is the code I input at the start of my new posting:

This code is a combination of both of the above articles. I am able to click on February 25, 2012 but I get a message that states, "This is something embarrassing, isn't it?" Page not found.

I haven't officially posted my new posting; I use "preview" to see if the jump works.
