I don't want any of my friends to know about this blog. They belittle me enough as it is. My friends do not support me and do not provide a safe space for me. So I have no-one to invite. I'm fine enough with strangers reading my blog, it's like a random conversation you might have on the bus with some stranger whom you'll never see again. Those conversations are important, too.

This page > Settings > Discussion
Discussion settings is where you set up defaults for comments.
We can also override the default settings and enable or disable future comments on any post or page.
Depending on the theme we use when we close comments a phrase like "comments closed" or a similar phrase may appear and if so, it can only be removed by CSS editing after purchasing a custom design upgrade.
