The error message is:
Forbidden 403
You don´t have permission to access / on this server.
My html folder is set to 750, the blog folder inside to 755. Index php and folders inside the blog-folder are set to 755, too.
Any idea what is going on here?

Note that the Contributor role has very limited access to blogs. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/ for details.

You might consider trying the P2 theme and using comments if you don't want students to have to create a WordPress.com username only account so they can submit content to the blog directly.

You could have them add comments, and they don't need an account to do that.

But they must create at least a username only WordPress.com account if they want access to add posts to a WordPress.com blog.

I created a separate user; sent email invite (to my daughter for test purposes); clicked the accept button in email; and was taken to wordpress to sign in (which was not possible without an account.

After I upgraded WP version I could not manage to insert media to the posts or pages. I get a warning saying:

"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /main/wp-admin/media-upload.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Can anyone have an idea about the solution?
